Were actually using these not on a boat, but on a frame attached to a hoist. They reel in out of the way, and then ratchet down tightly. I would absolutely buy them again. I just wish them made a longer version.

Quick and easy to install after checking with trailer manufacturer to be sure it would cause no harm to trailer by drilling holes to mount,it sped up my launch and retrieve time tremendously.

Everyone that tows a boat must have these!! What a pleasure to work with, never have to worry about forgetting to use them, there always bolted to the trailer, and work EASYLY. I wish I knew about these years ago!!!

I bought a pair of these for a motorcycle trailer in about 2005. Still work great and they are strong and quicker to use then anything else I had. Buying two more now for UTV trailer. I added a d shaped ring with a screw type latch to make it removable.

Works great easy to release better than the other stile the other companys make
