Greater than one weekWay better than going to the store and having a salesman sell you the wrong one! Works as advertised.

> 3 dayGot me up and running in no time! Local big box stores won’t carry an adapter like this, I guess because of liability issues, but if you’re sure of your wiring and equipment, this is a VERY SAFE adapter, for electrical service that has worked since electricity was invented!!!

> 3 dayGot to my new apartment and found out after the dryer was moved in that it had a 4 prong plug. I searched Amazon on hopes that there may be a adapter for 3-4 prongs. Yes, Yes, they had one. It worked like a charm. If you need this, try it, its a better price then buying a new dryer!

23-11-2024I moved into an older house with a 3-prong outlet, while my dryer is newer and has a 4-prong plug. What I didnt realize is that there is more than one configuration for 4-prong plugs. I found one at Lowes, but it was for RV use and had the incorrect prongs on it for my situation. So my advice is to look as closely as possible at the photos for this or any other adapter, and meticulously compare them to what youre trying to connect to be sure youre getting what you need. This one was perfect for my needs.
