This worked very well we moved into a new construction home and they had a 4 prong outlet our dryer had a 3 prong cord.

I got this product when I moved to a another unit with an older plug. It was very easy to install and everything seems to be working right.

Not much to say except it started smoking its first day of use. saw other people had similar experiences. Do not buy. I just change the cord on the dryer itself which turned out to be much easier than I thought I would.
