I am 99 percent sure of the following. I have recently returned to fish keeping but am experienced. On Sunday I was doing maintenance on the tank and asked my helper to open it and rinse while I was busy in the tank so I was not watching the process. I had a crystal clear tank as I use chemipure often I put the pouch in the tank and turned off the lights. Monday the water was murky but I let it go. By Tuesday I had an algae bloom of biblical proportion. I was puzzled and after some thought I asked my helper if the jars seal was in place and when rinsing was the water black at first. He said no to both. I can only conclude this was used and returned. It infected my tank with the algae. Amazon just threw it back in inventory and re-sold it. Now 9 days later I still am battling the algae. Great product but amazon screwed me.

great product, I use it for my 8g nano saltwater fish tank. I like it a lot because my corals and fish are happy.

I’ve been using this for 25 years and I personally guarantee you there’s not a better product like this, it really works and it’s truly amazing. Anyone that says it doesn’t work either they don’t know what they’re talking about they’re lying or they’re new in fish care if they think this is what’s causing any problems they have, look for another cause because it’s not this. I have used this on all types of aquarium, From discus to African cichlids, South American cichlids, guppy tanks, even goldfish tanks you name it I’ve had it and I’ve used this and it has never caused a problem but it definitely has fixed many problems.

I have used this product for over 35 years. It is terrific and a must have. Note that this is the nano size, and I use it for 15 gallons. It is a fourth of the regular sized bottle. It is, however, nearly the same price ;)
