This stuff is a great chemical filter for your tank. its packed with extras (apart from the charcoal) to ensure your tank is clean and the water quality stays constant. All for a low price! Just make sure you rinse it out extensively before your first use - there are a lot of small particles that come off of it. They recommend you replace this every 3 months. Pro Tip: turn on auto-shipping every 3 months and never worry about tracking when to replace.

Was having an issue with Red Slime in a very simple 40g fish only with live rock saltwater tank. Only has a small canister filter and power head for circulation. The red slime was quickly getting out of control, so I dosed the RedSea red slime remover first. It did ok, removed some but not all of the slime. So I added a bag of this to the canister. Within about 9 days all of the red slime is gone. Not a trace left of it anywhere.

Item was wet inside. Appeared to have been previously in water. Should be dry.

The cover over my activated carbon was missing and the activated carbon pouch wasnt even in the plastic bottle. It was loose, inside of the other food containers!

Does a good job chemically filtering the water. However, I would strongly recommend rinsing the bag in a bucket with salt water for a while before putting it in your aquarium. It will darken and muddy the heck out of your water.

I run this in my C3 filter on a 20 gallon long shell Dweller tank. IT Keeps it crystal clear ,odor free, phosphate free, for 3 months
