Greater than one weekNo complaints here. I really like the LED lighting, and the ability to adjust the intensity of the warm white and daylight LEDs simultaneously. A great addition to my electronics workbench. Buying a 2nd one for my girlfriends arts and crafts table. She tried it for some of her fine detail painting and loved it.

Highly recommended for any task that requires 2 hands, clear magnification, and just the right amount of light. The clamp attachment is simple and reliable, and the lamp stays put in any position - no drifting or jiggling. Excellent value for the price.

Greater than one weekThis is a really nice lamp. I expected something a smaller, this lamp is a lot bigger than what I expected, however the size works in its favor. It reminds me of a light that I would see at the dentist office. This lamp is moderate size and a very basic design which has been used for years. It is nice because it has two light settings and auto shut off. I ran across this magnifying glass online and purchased it for use in my electronics hobby shop. While it looked like it was pretty well made I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find a solidly built quality magnifying glass. The glass has minimal distortion while making it easy for me to see tiny electronic components. The device is held firmly to my work bench with a clamp and magnet arrangement that not only holds it securely, but also makes it easy to move out of the way when it is not needed.

GREAT FOR WORK BENCH OR CRAFT TABLEThe Lightview"s On/Off switch is conveniently located at the bottom of the head, just under the lens. To dim or adjust the color temperature of the light, tap the touch sensing arrows at the top of the lamp head. The black arrows adjust the lights on a cool white color spectrum while the red arrows adjust it on a warm white color spectrum. Because of the built in dimmer, the lamp cannot be dimmed externally at this time. The lamp is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets. |
