> 3 dayThis light is well made and of good quality materials. The biggest gripe that I have with it is every time you turn it off you lose your dimmer/color settings and you have to reset it every time that you turn it back on. It also has a habit of always wanting to return to the center position in the clamp. I like to keep it away from my face when just using it for a light but it wants to automatically swing back to the center position. It needs something to hold it in what ever position you push it to. Other than those two points I like it a lot and it seems to be well constructed.

> 3 dayVery happy with this light. So much so, that I ordered a second free standing/desk model because the clamp on wasnt available at the time. Its well made and the adjustable light color is a huge benefit for me as a scale modeler. I imagine it would be for other crafts and painting where you want accurate color depiction. Also very nice is the diopter size and strength. Another great feature is theres no discernible heat given off by the light even under its brightest setting which is way more than adequate for my purposes.

GREAT FOR WORK BENCH OR CRAFT TABLEThe Lightview"s On/Off switch is conveniently located at the bottom of the head, just under the lens. To dim or adjust the color temperature of the light, tap the touch sensing arrows at the top of the lamp head. The black arrows adjust the lights on a cool white color spectrum while the red arrows adjust it on a warm white color spectrum. Because of the built in dimmer, the lamp cannot be dimmed externally at this time. The lamp is plugin operated and works with 110v - 220v outlets; you would just need to use a plug adapter to use it outside of the US, as the plug is made to fit standard US AC outlets. |
