> 24 hourI have two Bubble Bums and while I have a couple of qualms with it, it is still deserving of 5 stars. I travel a lot with my daughter and we use Uber a lot. The Bubble Bum, when deflated, fits in a larger handbag. We pull it out, inflate in a few seconds, jump in our Uber, buckle up, done. I recommend this seat to so many people. Here are my problems with the seat: It needs a better system for rolling up and securing with the belt strap. We’ve made it work, but this is a design flaw. After rolling up a bunch of times (probably 60+), the seat wouldn’t inflate all the way and didn’t feel as secure as it was lumpy (from the rolling). The side buckles for the seatbelt take a couple of moments to get onto the seatbelt and, while my 10-yr old can do it, my 6-yr old cannot, so plan to help the kids into the seat. Finally, I find the belt-positioning strap has to be reset every single installation (which is a lot when using 5-6 Uber’s/day). Because we also use the strap to keep the seat rolled up, it is off from th shoulder height ‘setting’ for our kid. This isn’t a flaw, just annoying. I wish there were a button, hook and loop closure, or eleastic band to keep it rolled. The bag it comes with is great for traveling. When not traveling, we keep a Bubble Bum in our car for school pick-up when friends tag along.

> 24 hourI am giving this five stars because it does what I think it is designed to do: serves as a stopgap measure when no other option is available. This is no way is adequate for anything other than short rides when you cannnot carry a proper booster seat. We used it for four cab rides - one to hotel from airport, one back to airport from hotel and two short urban cab rides while in city we were visiting. It does not boost very high, slides easily and can position seatbelt appropriately with some care and attention while child focuses on not moving around much. Both the seat, and the child on the seat, and the belt positioner move around easily and children need to focus to make sure everything is in the right place. If you cannot carry a regular booster seat with you this is a good tool to make sure that rides are safer. But you should never consider this a replacement for a booster seat for regular travel that extends beyond short trips. Our son is eight and about 58 pounds and still requires a belt positioner to have everything at the correct height. I included picture from three cab rides. The belt positioner should be lower in third picture. It was the first time I used it and did not have height correct. Good for travel conundrums or very short rides where regular seat is difficult or impossible to manage. Requires help by adult installing seat and positioning things correctly but also cooperative child who will sit still.

> 24 hourThis was a last minute purchase for a city trip that we realized would likely involve some taxi/Lyft rides. We have the mi-fold high back booster seat from last year, but thats way too big to easily toss in a backpack and carry around all day. Plus, my child is taller and heavier now (a small age 7), so a backless booster is OK. The Bubble Bum was easy to use, very portable, and my child said it was plenty comfortable. The seatbelt came to the right spot on her body thanks to the strap on the back and the belt loops on the side of the seat. Well reach for this again for any trip that could involve occasional taxi/Lyft trips. I wonder how the Bubble Bum compares to the MiFold backless seat, which is currently unavailable, and maybe even smaller to carry around.

> 24 hourIf you’re traveling with kids who use booster seats this is the best purchase ever. Instead of lugging around their big bulky seats you can easily put these in your luggages or carry on. They’re easy to inflate. Definitely worth the money if you travel a lot with your family.

> 24 hourCan be useful if it’s the right size. Easier and cheaper than trying to lug around your own car seats.

> 24 hourSuper lightweight, can be stored really easily, and slim design fit three wide in my back seat. The tend to fall off the seat when my kids are climbing into the car, and the shoulder strap adjuster thing isn’t very good. It’s always loosening itself up.

> 24 hourGot the seat and blew it up. It is basically an air seat that raises the child up to fit the seat belt better. This is great for traveling. We are going on a 5 city vacation and will save the space and hassle of carrying a full size seat especially when going in and out of uber and walking around. Fits nicely in the backpack. Dont know how long it will last but if it makes it through one or 2 trips it is well worth it.

> 24 hourProduct Review: This inflatable booster worked great for us! My husband was quite skeptical but we both thought it was perfect, especially for traveling. My daughter is 6 but quite slim, and since she just clicked over the 40-lb. weight minimum for boosters, she is still in a convertible booster with a 5-point harness because I believe its safer and she doesnt complain so why not? However, we recently took an airplane trip and since we already had to travel with my younger sons carseat, we did not want to lug 2 full sized seats through airports. We decided since driving on our trip would be minimal once we got to our destination, to go with this booster. Im so glad we did. It inflates and deflates like a breeze. It rolls up and fit in my daughters backpack until we needed it. It was easy for her to use, comfortable to sit on, and the belt guides were easy to use and kept the seatbelt perfectly placed on her shoulder. It will be perfect to keep in my car to use when we have an unexpected friend ride along with us because its small and will fit nicely in the middle seat between our two very large Britax convertible seats, which hard boosters probably would not. Id purchase again without hesitation. Warehouse Seller Review: I ordered this item as New/Like New from Amazon Warehouse Deals. We received it in a torn and re-taped box (as expected) but sadly the item had clearly been used. It had food (?) crumbs all on it, along with a large amount of dog hair. So, we returned it and since we needed it right away, we bought the same item at Walmart for almost the exact same price.

> 24 hourIt was a gift to a mom and her child and they used it for travel and were both very happy with it.
