> 3 dayI ordered this in July but it was late August before I got around to opening it. My plan was to use it as an air assist for my laser. It worked fine for about 2 months and then it died. After doing all of the regular checkings of everything, I sent an email to customer service. I got no answer for three days so I called them. The guy I got was almost dismissive of my issues. He told me that I should have bought a bigger unit. He told me that the thermal switch is probably bad or needs to be reset. He also said that the only way to get it fixed is to send it to them. IN CALIFORNIA. so I have to spend $30 or $40 to even have them look at it. Its still under warranty but I guess I am going to have to eat the cost of getting it fixed rather than them sending me the part they think is bad. At some point, I will take it apart and see what I can see but I just bought something else for now. So, if you buy this thing realize that it is only designed to be used in short spurts according to the guy. It may be quiet but it wont hold up under demanding use, and by demanding use, I think I ran it a few days per week for about 8 hours per day with the on-and-off cycles. This might be good for airbrushing or something with very low air pressure requirements but I wouldnt count on it for anything much more demanding than that. Maybe they should include duty cycle expectations in the description.

> 3 dayI dont do construction. I wanted a compressor to blow dust off things, clean my Roomba, de crud my garage--in other words, minor household tasks. And I didnt want to be deafened in the process. This fits the bill perfectly. Its soooo quiet, easy to move around, simple to use. One of my contractor friends was so impressed hes looking into a heavy duty model for his purposes.

> 3 dayIf you dont need a high flow rate and just need to power some tools, this is the perfect compressor.

> 3 dayThe self locking fitting leaked if the air hose wasn’t plugged in. Called and left message to service department about it, never heard from anyone. (Part of the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5). Replaced it with a high flow fitting and it easily removed lawn mower blades on a 54 inch deck commercial mower. It also slammed 3 inch framing nails easily. The other part of the 4 star instead of 5 star review is durability. Time will tell, I’m just an occasional user. Nice little , real quiet compressor With An add on air tank, this little guy could preform big jobs.

> 3 dayI love this little compressor. Its well designed (its biggest feature) and so quiet I hardly hear it, with ear protection of course. As I grow older, weight makes a difference and I have basically scrapped my old big unit as this one does all I need a compressor to do. Controls are easy to work, pressure display is easy to read, hose connections are handy, on-off switch and drain cog are easy to use.

> 3 dayThis unit is very quiet. No one has exaggerated that. Mine arrived in good shape with no issues. Via a 6-foot host I connected a external regulator / water trap and 4-port manifold at my airbrushing station. No leaks as far as I can tell. Compressor startup is quiet and doesnt make me jump while airbrushing. Fills quickly and then shuts off. I have the compressor output set at around 50 psi so it never gets as low as the external regulator. Pressure at the airbrush is good all the time. Im more than satisfied with this compressor for airbrushing. I wont be trying it for inflating tires or running nailers and such. I have bigger compressors for that kind of work.

Greater than one weekI bought this compressor for diving on the bottom of my sailboat. I was able to power it off my inverter and calculated the draw to be about 560 watts. I dial the regulator down to 60 psi and have it hooked to cheap diving regulator I got off Amazon. The compressor kicks on and off while I am underwater. Seems to keep up with my breathing just fine, at least when I am just a few feet underwater. The compressor is so quiet it’s amazing. It also fills its little tank so quickly. I love this compressor and would definitely recommend it.

Greater than one weekQuietest air compressor on the market. Quick connect fitting on compressor was faulty. Had to replace. Thus a star taken away.

20-11-2024I know its advertised as quiet, but I was still surprised at HOW quiet. Night and day compared to my cheap Harbor Freight donut compressor. I can now still have a normal conversation (no yelling) while the compressor cycles on. Also, even though the tank capacity is very small, Im surprised at how infrequent it cycled on, using a brad nailer. Speaking of Tank Capacity -- versatility is limited. This compressor simply wont work for most high volume applications, but I knew this when I bought it.
