> 24 hourI was looking for an inexpensive photoprinter for a member of the family and purchased this printer, having always been satisfied in the past with Canon products. I found the Canon MP480 to function quite well in both scanning and printing. Installing it was no problem. Very glad I purchased iot and the price cannot be beat. David

> 24 hourThis used printer came in good condition which was a wonder considering the box looked like it had been handled by a gorilla. The printer is working OK..... but, the problem is it came without the user guide and from China. The shipper knew it was going to America and it would have been nice if they had put it in to the English language. We have not tried real hard to put it in to English and Im sure that we will be able to do that. Just keep in mind that this can happen when your product is coming from a country other than America. Other than that one little problem, we are happy with our purchase. Thxs.

> 24 hourThe price on this printer was great, I bought it just to print a newsletter that I send out every month. I used to print this on a Pixma IP3500 and used 2 1/2 black cartridges at $13 each. This one used 4 cartridges at over $20 each! Id have trouble recommending this one, the cheap price will be quickly made up by the cost of the ink!

> 24 hourThis printer was very reasonably priced. It is more than I had hoped for. I am able to print out 4 x 6 inch pictures, which is the main reason I bought it. I have a laser printer for most of my other needs. But this also makes copies, like a miniature xerox copier, which is extremely handy. It also acts as a regular printer. It was a great investment for me. The quality of the pictures I print out is high quality. The cartridges are pretty expensive, but even though I use this printer often, the cartridges last close to a year, so in the long run, I guess the cost of the cartridges isnt so bad.

> 24 hourI dont use my printer very often, maybe twice a week at most. I expect a printer to last at least 2 years with such limited use, this one made it 15 months. The LCD display screen started fading out and became difficult to read after a year, now there is nothing on the display. At the 15 month mark it starting saying there was a paper jam even though there isnt one. I like the easy set up and never had a problem with the scanner or the print quality. The photo printing was so-so, definitely not a high quality photo printer. I just wish it wouldnt have broken so quickly.

> 24 hourPros: Pretty good printer for the price. I needed an inexpensive printer with a small footprint to take along on RV trips and this one fits the bill. Price for ink is OK. Excellent copy funtion and very good scanning. Photo printing is OK but not as good as my MP610 with individual ink tanks and 1 picoliter print head. Cons: Looks like a roaster oven. No individual ink tanks for color. Very noisy. Construction a bit flimsy but fit and finish is good, like all Canon products.

> 24 hourThe title just about says it all. The quality of this printer is fine. Ive owned many printers in my life, but this is by far the biggest ink hog I have ever had.

> 24 hourGreat printer and scanner! Pictures come out very nice and clear. It can be a little noisy, but the quality is worth it.

> 24 hourCannot believe Cannons dirty little secret - you cant scan if you are out of ink. What a cheap scam from Cannon, a respectable company would resort to holding your scanner hostage if you dont buy their exorbitantly priced ink. Worthless.

> 24 hourReceived this printer with the I-Mac. We like the features e.g., copy & scan. However, as noted in other reviews, this printer eats up the ink. If we were printing more B & W, I definitely would consider a laser printer.
