> 3 dayUsing it with Mac OS X v10.5 connected to the airport wireless hub so that it functions as a network printer for all the macs in the house. Blazing fast, excellent color print quality. I dont intend to use it for photos. Print cartridges are less expensive than most. Set up was simple plug and play. Very pleased.

01-06-2025Canon tends to make good products, and this is no exception. A very good printer for the price.

> 3 dayIve mostly used this printer for the last few years of college; alot of text, color powerpoints, etc. but not so much full-size color photos. I agree it is a bit of an ink sucker but I have found you can get quite a bit of mileage from the cartridges after the low warning comes on. I keep a new cartridge handy and dont replace until it physically runs out. The occasional reprint is worth it to me because of how many more jobs I can get out of it that way. Other than that, the printer has held up beautifully to a few years of active use and I have no complaints about style, function, or features. A good overall printer, I think, if youre not photo-heavy and willing to max the cartridge.

> 3 dayI bought this printer about 3 yrs ago for $30 at Wal-mart, and at the time I thought maybe I should buy a all-in-one instead. But now Im really satisfied with this product. I guess whether the product will continue working is dependent on users using manner. I think Canon has some very good products. I bought a printer for about 3 yrs, a copier for about 2, and both still work properly.

Greater than one weekThe printer is fast and simple to use, but I am disappointed in the print quality of photos.

> 3 dayI was needed a printer for quick jobs at home and purchased this machine because it seemed stylish. It has been a wonderful saver given space issues in my home. When the top and tray fold up (which is very quick to do, this sits like a nice black box on top of my desk. It is unobtrusive. I can easily stack stuff on top of it if I need the space. The printing is quite nice, though the ink is expensive. I would definitely not suggest getting the ink from anywhere other than an authorized dealer. I have tried to get the ink on-line a few times, but have ended up with cartridges that have so little ink that it is not worth the money. I have since decided to only get ink from Staples, where I can be sure that they are not putting some fractional amount in and sending it to me. I use to have an HP and would have no problem finding ink on-line, so this is a bit unique to the cannon 40/41 vendors. Print quality is what you would expect at $50. It does the job for office work, but obviously if you are a photographer and need the highest in quality pictures, than you should probably pay up for some of the fancier printers. However, if you just need an occasional print job that can be a reasonably grainy, this will do the trick (I sometimes print CD covers with it. Its fine).

> 3 dayThe IP2600 is a good printer for the money. Black and color printing is fast and quiet. I previously had the more expensive i850. This printer seems to burn through ink about twice as fast.

> 3 dayMy old printer died and I had a lot of ink cartridges for it. I am so glad I found a compatible printer for the cartridges and the printer works like a dream! And the price was reasonable!

> 3 dayThe start up process is a little bit slow from the start but print quality; I cant complain on that. The sounds coming from the printer sounds unsettling at first but soon quiet down once the machine ready for business. Overall this particular printer performs with the best of those more pricey models that print quality comes up far short in comparison.
