07-06-2025This printer broke a month and a half after I bought it. It no longer takes the paper I load into it properly, and is unable to print anything. Ive gone back to using my last printer, and now Im wondering why I upgraded in the first place.

> 3 dayThe girl at Best Buy was shocked when I asked for a printer that just printed not one loaded with all sorts features. Had to find one on Amazon. I like Pixma printers, so why not buy another. It gets the job done for me.

> 3 dayI bought this printer in 2009 before college, and boy did I love it! I still do love it, and I plan to take it with me to grad school. I am sure in the past 5 years of use, this printer did stutter and jam several times... but for the most part, my impression of my printer is a positive one. I got this for less than $100, so I think I got this for a bargain. I guess the price went up. This printer is not the fastest, but it got the job done. You have to manually manipulate the papers and printing settings to get double-sided printing (which I made mistakes with several times). The printing quality was very much sufficient for essays and lecture notes with images. I am too cheap to use expensive ink to print photos with this, but I am sure people liked it for its intended purpose. It is loud when it prints, so if you live in a 3-person, tiny dorm room like I did freshman year, late-night printing would be a bit rude. Love this printer, and i hope I can keep using it!

> 3 dayI have had this printer only about a month, but so far it has performed well. It is just a simple printer -- no bells and whistles -- and, for my personal needs, is all I wanted. My only complaint has to do with the price of the ink cartridges for this model. I had a Canon prior to this model and the ink was much less expensive. I dont understand the difference, but maybe these cartridges last longer.

Greater than one weekMine worked for a while . . . but now the photo stock wont feed at all, and the only message I get is Paper out! Load paper and press resume button. Even though there are 20 sheets of photo stock in the hopper. Update: I adjusted the number of sheets in the hopper and got it to work. Not sure what the optimum number of sheets is - perhaps close to full (1/2 inch space)?

> 3 dayDoes a great job! I dont print very much, but it is quiet and fast and the print quality is just what I need. I was a little surprised when I took it out of the box at the size....seemed big, especially compared to my last printer.

> 3 dayBought the printer at walmart, am on my second black cartridge. Turned the printer on to do some printing and got seven flashes on the amber light. Looked in the manual and read that the cartridge was not properly installed. So far, I reinstalled it about fifty times, to no avail. I still get the same message, can anybody offer any help ?

> 3 dayI bought this for my wife who was always having trouble with her HP printer. I myself have a Canon Pixma iP6000D and have had great success with it. The iP2600 is smaller, simpler and good-looking in black. And works just as well.

> 3 dayIve only used it for print so far, and the quality is excellent. No mechanical problems. I would like the option to print from back to front (spend 30 minutes looking for the feature last night to no avail) because documents come out face up so you have to re-organize documents that print out.
