> 24 hourWere talking Fish Oil here. Im neither scientist nor doctor. Ive never noticed a difference in the taste of a gelcap nor noticed much in the way of after-effects (maybe a fishy burp a few hours later). I rate this product as 5 stars because of the price and the amount contained within each gelcap.

> 24 hourGreat quality, and comes in a good size for a great price. Good macros, and these are my go-to stock of fish oil for the past year.

> 24 hourAs an Omega-3 supplement, this is a decent product with only caveat that in addition to Omega-3 it also contains Vitamin E. Vitamin E is not water soluble and you are already ingesting enough of it through a multivitamin regimen and/or food. Since Vitamin E is not fat soluble, it gets stored in the fat cells of your body. On a long enough time scale, ingesting large quantities of Vitamin E can cause toxic vitamin build up that can even lead to death. Below is an article from Johns Hopkins: [...] Bottom line, stay away from Omega-3 supplements with Vitamin E in them UNLESS your Daily Values add up across other food sources and you are not ingesting excess amounts. Another issue I have Carlson Omega-3 pills is that they are advertised to be 1250 mg Omega-3 supplement, when they only contain 800 mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Below is a breakdown from the supplement facts on the back of the bottle: ------------------------------ EPA = 400 mg DHA = 300 mg Other Omega-3s = 100mg ------------------------------ What constitutes the other 450 mg? These are big pills that look about 1.25 grams in size. So I am sure the weight is correct, or otherwise Carlson Labs would be guilty of blatant fraud. Take a look at, Nordic Naturals, for example. All of their Omega-3 supplements have numbers that ADD UP. Not so with Carlson Labs. Am I missing something?
