> 3 dayHands down one of my favorite fish oil capsules, dinged 1 star though due to the lemon flavor... instead of fish burps you get a few hours of lemon burps... personally Id rather burp fish than the lemon.

> 3 dayLet me be clear...I hardly EVER leave reviews...good or bad. So for me to do this is something special. Let me be clear part 2.... I love Carlsons Elite Omega 3... its awesome stuff....but THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT THE SELLER, DailyVita. I have taken WAY too much time replying and responding to their emails concerning my product that was (I found out later) mis-delivered to my neighbor instead of me. What I at first thought to be a CS agent at DailyVita who actually cared about customer service.... turns out to be either A: a canned answer bot.... or B: A CS agent who does not actually READ the emails from the people who spend money at the company they work for. Either way, I have already wasted too much of my OWN TIME tracking down a lost shipment and trying to work out a replacement..... all of which could have been avoided and resulted in a 5 star review if whoever it is had taken the time to actually READ my concerns.

> 3 dayAs an Omega-3 supplement, this is a decent product with only caveat that in addition to Omega-3 it also contains Vitamin E. Vitamin E is not water soluble and you are already ingesting enough of it through a multivitamin regimen and/or food. Since Vitamin E is not fat soluble, it gets stored in the fat cells of your body. On a long enough time scale, ingesting large quantities of Vitamin E can cause toxic vitamin build up that can even lead to death. Below is an article from Johns Hopkins: [...] Bottom line, stay away from Omega-3 supplements with Vitamin E in them UNLESS your Daily Values add up across other food sources and you are not ingesting excess amounts. Another issue I have Carlson Omega-3 pills is that they are advertised to be 1250 mg Omega-3 supplement, when they only contain 800 mg of Omega-3 Fatty Acids. Below is a breakdown from the supplement facts on the back of the bottle: ------------------------------ EPA = 400 mg DHA = 300 mg Other Omega-3s = 100mg ------------------------------ What constitutes the other 450 mg? These are big pills that look about 1.25 grams in size. So I am sure the weight is correct, or otherwise Carlson Labs would be guilty of blatant fraud. Take a look at, Nordic Naturals, for example. All of their Omega-3 supplements have numbers that ADD UP. Not so with Carlson Labs. Am I missing something?
