Love this game! Each game is slightly different. There are ideas in the instructions to challenge yourself if needed. The game pieces are nice and sturdy as well!

Once you get the gist, its not a particularly hard game to play. So far we have only played the easiest level. Though I do like noisy raucous games, too, this one is calming and thoughtful. There is some strategy and thinking to create the best possible move. Though we are competing, we do help and discuss some best possible moves. It is a long-ish game. I created boards to play on by covering a 20x20 inch styrofoam board (cut from the boards bought at the Dollar store) and stapled green felt (on sale, post Christmas, originally sold as base beneath Christmas tree.) I figured that if we need to pause the game, the configurations can be transported to another area. The pieces and pictures are so pretty and add to the beauty of the game. Winning is often a tight squeeze as youre working with adding smaller increments, which in turn, adds more hype to the game. The game ends with everyone feeling satisfied and accomplished.

I love this game. Each time you play is a different game, and involves strategy but also quick thinking. I also appreciate that there are different levels of difficulty

This is a great game that offers so much variety everytime you play it. There are also a lot of suggestions for different goals to accomplish and different varieties of play. There is also a simpler playing style for younger kids or for those who just want a simpler game. It is also a great solo game. I have really enjoyed trying to accomplish the different achievements. I would recommend this game for anyone who loves games. I would recommend this as a great solo game.

The game rules are very easy to learn, you can start playing right away. At the same time mastering the strategy is not so simple -- there are multiple ways to earn points, which makes the game great and very repayable. Do you go after patterns, all of them or just one? Or would you rather try to get points by building the nicest terrain, or maybe all of the above? Like almost any game there is an element of luck, but it is not overwhelming or annoying. The art and production quality is high quality and if you are outdoorsy, the theme will give you additional gaming pleasure.

This game is well-made and would make a nice addition to a gamers library. There are wood tokens and a nice cloth bag for them and the tiles are a thick cardboard. The game is equally fun whether you are just playing a 2-player game or with 3-4 players. Its a mid-level strategy game.

Easy instructions to follow for first time player. I usually solo all of my games before I bring others to the table so it was nice that they included solo variant rules. Definitely a new favorite.
