> 24 hourComes rolled and it will be kinked when you first take out of the package. Let it rest for a few days to relax and then you will be able to get the kinks out and have it straightened. I tested at 1gpbs speed and it seems stable, but unable to test higher speeds in my home. This will work well if you need to run a data line to a room on the other end of most apartments and even small homes. Most work from home needs to be wired and you need a quiet place, so this allows you to run a data cable for your computer to a quiet room.

> 24 hourI chose this CAT8 cable for its indoor/outdoor rating and its suitable for direct underground bury without conduit. This is perfect for an upcoming project requiring roughly 20ft of cable to be buried underground between the main residence and a detached garage with office space. This CAT8 cable is backwards compatible with current 10/100/1000mbps equipment and will simplify upgrading my network equipment in the future up to 40 Gigabit speeds. This is top of the line cable that is design supported the fastest network transmission speeds. I highly recommend this to anyone that has an outdoor or underground application or to anyone wishing to futureproof their current network infrastructure.

> 24 hourI read that a CAT 8 would be over kill for a home set up but I love it with myself gaming as well as my husband and my kids using their electronics. It’s a great length as well.

> 24 hourThis 50-foot ethernet cable is top-quality. While Ive got no test to prove its made off oxygen-free copper, I can say it does facilitate high-speed data transfer. Connected to a gigabit ethernet switch, uploads and downloads are fast, and precise- even at the 50-foot length of this cable! Construction quality is the real story, though. This cable is professional-quality, featuring a THICK PVC jacket, gold-plated shielding on the connectors, and plastic reinforcement boots where the cable meets the connectors. The cable is thick, but highly-compliant- for easy runs, and the connectors look and feel robust. As a nice touch, the cable came with a packet of 15 cable clips, with tacks. This is a very nice cable.

> 24 hourWorks exactly like youd think it would. Fastest I can test it with is a 1Gb/s connection speed, but its been working great so far.

> 24 hourI am using this to connect my PC to a far away jack. It is running just as fast as with an 8ft patch. I feel I dont need to worry about stepping on this or pinching it against the wall when moving my desk. The plugs are better than the normal ones i use. I dont think the retaining clip is going to break off if I look at it funny.

> 24 hourI did not try to test this cable for high speed data transfer so I cannot confirm whether it meets CAT 8 requirements. However the cable gauge appears to support high speed traffic. I did use it in my home office to connect my router to 1G Ethernet switch which includes a Synology Network Attached Storage unit. Traffic is smooth. The connectors lock solidly. Id rate this a good value.

> 24 hourThis is probably going to be a pretty short review, because cables are usually a simple product. We have gigabit fiber internet to our house, and none of my devices are currently equipped with NICs that can handle Category 8 speeds. So, while I cannot attest to its prowess at 40 gbps, I CAN say it is an extremely well-built cable that will likely last decades or longer, and regular gigabit is no problem here. A solid heft, thick protection which I have no doubt is impervious to all average household radio interference, and those RJ-45 connectors are incredible! A bonus was the included cable hooks! My wife and I are currently trying to buy a house, and I will definitely make use of those as I wire up our respective home offices. Just an excellent product all-around.

> 24 hourI am using this CAT 8 cable to run 1080p and 4k video and audio across rooms using an HDMI ethernet extender. I have extended the cable out to its full length and most video comes across wonderfully with full audio. There are some source issues with the extender boxes, but the Cat 8 cable holds no blame there. The shielding here is also an extra benefit if running this cable through walls were Romex cable may be co-existing.
