Greater than one weekI use this for bushcraft. Got the exact one I ordered. This is heavy duty and really grips against itself. The tar on it is good and seems to coat the whole way around. It was between this brand and sgt knots brand. I chose this one because some of the reviews said the sgt knots didnt seem coated the whole way around. This has that good tar smell but isnt so bad you can smell it from across the room unless you just opened it. Within a day it was toned down but you can still smell it when you hold it up to your nose.

> 3 dayI bought this to add to my bug out bag because of suggestions from others to an alternative to para cord. This has more then enough tensile strength, a huge roll, all for less price then para cord. i have not had a chance to use it yet but it does appear to be woven in a way that is prone to unraveling quickly when cut, most likely a knot or a lighter to the ends as soon as you cut it. this roll is about the size of a chipotle burrito.

> 3 daythe only thing i could say about this that is a draw back is that it is hard to tie in knots since its tarred. that being said its strong, water and rot proof and holds so much weight that i would never buy anything but this line again for my trot line and bushcraft uses

> 3 dayI bought two spools of this stuff and have already used about 3/4 of one spool making an A-frame shelter. It seems to be very strong after lashing several joints and putting a lot of pressure on the line. The only thing that bothered me is that it tends to come off the spool easily when trying to hold on to the spool while wrapping the lashings, other than that its fine. Id recommend this product.

> 3 dayThis is great cordage. It doesn’t stretch like paracord and holds up really well. It’s also awesome at holding knots due to the tarring.

> 3 dayLiving in Louisiana for over sixty years I have used tarred bankline (trotline) for fishing from the “bank” hence the name. I have gotten my boat prop tangled by many a five year or older abandoned trotline . This stuff is heaven sent ,super strong and resistant to all types of weather. Highly reccommended.

> 3 dayI saw a lot of bush crafters using this and so I figured I would give it a try. Sure enough, it works just like they said! I like this as much or probably more than paracord for a lot of applications. But, I will say there are some things I do prefer Amsteel or paracord for but for 98% of camp chores or bushcraft tasks, this is my go-to.
