> 3 dayThis tarred line works great for limb lines for catfish. I assume it would work for just about any binding within reason. Only complaint is that the tar smell is quite strong but it doesn’t last too long.

02-06-2025This is lightly tared nylon cord. thinner than paracord, but holds a knot well. if you know what your are doing, i am sure you could set a snare with it easily, but according to the research i have been doing online, this would not work for a bow. probably wont stretch enough. anyway, the cord is good for many uses, and is much lighter and smaller in the pocket than paracord. (I keep rope in my pocket and practice knots to fidget.) I did have to use a lighter to fuse the ends of the rope after cutting it but that is expected. One thing is it will cut into the hands if pulling on the cord with the hands, and this is due to the size.

> 3 dayBought the #36 twisted bankline and its a great item to have. I bought it specifically for an EDC bag and its got a lot of uses as any prepper will tell you. Twine is tough and if you like the smell of tar, you wont be disappointed. Stuff is strong, weatherproof, and versatile. Definitely recommend.

> 3 dayI absolutely love bankline because it is super strong, resistant to the elements, and you get so much in a roll that you dont feel bad about leaving some behind. I know when I use 550 paracord, I always make sure to recover every last bit of it from my camp site before I leave because 550 paracord isnt cheap! LOL Bankline on the other hand, is pretty much disposable. Awesome stuff for the bushcrafter!

> 3 dayJust wow. This stuff is extremely well made. Not overly gummy, but holds its shape and knots very well. Nice consistent twist. A bit of tar smell but thats to be expected with tarred bank line. Get the big spool because youll find a ton of uses for it. Great strength....enough to shut up the largest gator or tie your mother-in-law in the closet for a couple hours without fear of escaping ha jk. Seriously, this is the best line money can buy.
