Good solder flux makes all the difference soldering surface mount components. You can never use too much, and this was easy to clean. TIP: Ive found the easiest way to clean the metal dispensing tips is to briefly soak it in alcohol and then blow it out with an air compressor nozzle. Push the nozzle up tight to the plastic end so no air escapes and it will blow the stuff right out the end.

Good flux. Not the best I have used but darn close. The applicator is very convenient.

Reduces the work of clesing after use And I use it for touch up and rework, attchment of BGA spheres, soldring flip chip components.

Used this product on a 100 pin ARM chip. The Flux was a bit too wet. It did not seem to work very good for me while trying to solder the fine pitched pins onto the pads. I had too much bridging. Also, the product made quit the mess. It took a few cleanings to get the flux off of the board. I discarded the product and reverted back to using a Kester Flux pin. Less bridging, and less of a mess to clean.

This solder paste woks great - comes out of the tube with little force and is easy to work with. Just be sure to wear disposable gloves and clean up thoroughly after wards. Ive made a couple of SMD boards so far - just paste them up, place the parts, and bake them in a reflow, I mean dedicated toaster oven. Works well. This is NOT lead-free solder. It is toxic. Please be sure to follow all guidelines to keep yourself, your family, and your environment safe.

Ive been doing rework for years without spending top dollar for flux. It will never happen again, this stuff is amazing and makes everything easier. A bit pricy but it makes all the difference in the world.

Remove QFDs, PLCCs, SOICs and chip components without costly and complex equipment. Use ChipQuik with your existing rework equipment or temperature controlled soldering irons. Special removal alloy has excellent wetting ability with a low melting temperature of 136F (58C). To use: apply paste flux to all leads with syringe; melt ChipQuik alloy on all pins of SMD; with wide iron tip; maintain alloy in a molten state long enough to release chip; lift chip from board with pick-up tool. Safe, affordable, easy and won"t damage sensitive components. NoClean Paste Flux; 10cc syringe with tip.
