This brace.is the easiest to install no tapping involved, nice thick metal attachment plates and it bolts to the cr 10 perfectly. I wish everything I bought for my printer fit right out of the box like this item.

Second mod added to my printer and so far so good if I need to adjust it I will but for now it all holds up well

Parts seem sturdy and it didnt take long to install. THis was the replacement to a DIY set of brackets Id been using for several years and the quality is there.

I bought this kit because I knew itd be a matter of time before Id start having problems with doing larger, longer prints. My CR10 is a great printer but adding these support rods makes the printer even better. The kit was super easy to install. Just make sure youre using some sort of squaring tool so you can adjust your Z axis to a perfect 90 degree angle.

Definitely does as advertised, the support rods do a great job of stabilizing the gantry. The really nasty layer shift problem I had on tall prints went away after installing these. The install itself does take a bit of work and knowhow. You do have to tap out the center channel of the front frame member to attach the support rods, (the tap is included with the kit), and once that is done everything else is just simply bolting the rods on and tensioning them. Price was decent and other than needing a little extra work to install Ive been very satisfied with these.

Having to tap increases risk of permanent damage and frustration. Didn’t thing about the bolt so both holes got stripped out. Those holes are useless now and have to figure out alternative. None of the threading is reversed so that tension adjustments can be done. Tutorial video is terrible. Could have been a little more explanatory. All it is, is a video of a guy assembling it in fast forward and music.

Did exactly what it was advertised to do, adding stability to the gantry for taller prints. I just created/printed a ~300mm tall bracket having a base no more than 30mm around with 0 defects. Id half expected it to tip over at some point but, with a healthy amount of glue stick, it stayed vertical and had no discernable layer shift. Beyond the benefits for my prints, I appreciate that this kit did NOT require tapping for new screws and couldnt have been simpler to install. All tools required were included and the braces can be removed without leaving any trace (not that I ever will). I highly recommend this upgrade!

Does just what it should - Make the Z not wobble. Easy to install.

These use the same tee nuts you use all over the printer. Why some of the others want you to tap threaded holes, I have no idea, when theres all these securing points literally all over the printer frame. These look to be the same ones newer CR-10 and up models come with. A great improvement on sturdiness, and in honesty, while I didnt notice a reduction in ringing, the difference in the flex to the frame must make a larger difference, the taller a print gets. Very happy with the purchase.
