Im using this with the Fysetc Z Height 2040 aluminum extrusions for my ender 3 pro to have a Z height of 400 mm and with this Z Brace/stabilizer im losing 15 to 20 which isnt a big deal at all since the Z height is more that what i currently need atm. My only wish is that the rods where a single piece and used a right and left hand treads in stead of using 2 right hand threads. Only reason reason being as you tighten the rod youd be pulling the button head screws in and then youd use the jam nuts to secure it. Other than that I enjoy upgrade alot.

The printer I have was in a shed that got blown over in a wind storm, it actually survived and I had to bend a few parts back into shape, but they were always a few mm off. This kit actually helped me warp the rigging back into shape so the unit is perfectly flat again. Id call that a winner! It serves its other purpose perfectly - providing stabilization and cleaner large prints that have the gantry travelling further up the z-axis

The rods were very easy to install. I would be great if a set was made for the Ender 3.

Generally great, but the ring ends dont sit flat against the extrusions (the hole isnt bent). This came with a tap to cut thread holes but its too small to cut holes in extrusion ends. Because of those issues you have to buy and use 2 of these sets: 1 to the front and 1 to the back of the printer to allow for a completely solid Z section.

Definitely does as advertised, the support rods do a great job of stabilizing the gantry. The really nasty layer shift problem I had on tall prints went away after installing these. The install itself does take a bit of work and knowhow. You do have to tap out the center channel of the front frame member to attach the support rods, (the tap is included with the kit), and once that is done everything else is just simply bolting the rods on and tensioning them. Price was decent and other than needing a little extra work to install Ive been very satisfied with these.

I did a DIY support kit on my other printer and decided to avoid all the headache and pay more to get these. This is by far the easiest rods to install. It holds the printer pretty solid so now i can printer super tall prints and not worry about the frame moving. Making the holes were super easy and all the parts fit perfect. I would buy it again if I ever needed another on. It is a little pricer then if you were to do it yourself by buying all the parts but to me it was wroth it because of how easy it was. I would recommend it to others.

Instructions arent very clear, but its a pretty self explanatory install. Took around 10 minutes from box to complete. Added noticeable stability to the frame.
