Greater than one weekDefinitely does as advertised, the support rods do a great job of stabilizing the gantry. The really nasty layer shift problem I had on tall prints went away after installing these. The install itself does take a bit of work and knowhow. You do have to tap out the center channel of the front frame member to attach the support rods, (the tap is included with the kit), and once that is done everything else is just simply bolting the rods on and tensioning them. Price was decent and other than needing a little extra work to install Ive been very satisfied with these.

15-11-2024Goes together easily, theres no tap in the kit i received. Seems they upgraded and its no longer needed. Use a square when you adjust them!

> 3 dayGreat edition to the cr-10, with the Z gantry being so tall its nice to be able to stiffen the frame up. Easy to install and very well packed. Definitely recommend using a machinist square during set up to maintain proper angles.

> 3 dayInstructions arent very clear, but its a pretty self explanatory install. Took around 10 minutes from box to complete. Added noticeable stability to the frame.

> 3 dayAs others have stated these work fine but they could have been way better if they made one side have left hand thread and the other have right hand. Then you would get infinite adjustment and not have to pull out the bolt in the end in order to change it. The will work for now but I cannot believe that any company would not think of this during manufacturing.

Greater than one weekHad to trim 20 mm off of each suppor rod, and retap the rod in order for it to fit tightly

> 3 dayThe parts are all right hand thread, so it is impossible to make an adjustment less than one half turn. If one end was reverse thread, the adjustments would be infinite. This was a very poor choice. The bigger problem is that the kit did NOT include a tap. I had to go out and buy a tool that was supposed to be part of the kit, and that is clearly shown in the pictures of the kit. I was also not impressed by the fit and finish or overall quality of the end links.

> 3 daySecond mod added to my printer and so far so good if I need to adjust it I will but for now it all holds up well
