> 3 dayI just used this to shorten a pair of denim jeans keeping the original hem. Im completely sold on this gauge, it locks in place, Id always used the old metal slide gauge and constantly had to readjust the slide to the correct measurement . This 5-1 is fantastic. Watch the YouTube demos online they encouraged me to give this a try and Im sure glad it now lives in my sewing room :0)

> 3 dayI LOVE this tool! I have been making shades which required a lot of seams and hems to be very accurately measured. I love that this gauge locks into place so there is no drifting as you use it multiple times. I have not yet tried the circular drawing capability, but I did check it out just a bit. The spot where you hold it steady is designed such that, even though you are holding it down firmly, the radial parts still moves quite freely, so it should work well. It is just a little more flexible than I thought it would be but so far that has not proven to be an issue at all.

> 3 dayI had trouble keeping the sliding marker in position on my old ruler. The slider on this one stays in place with a ratchet-like holder. Theres a button release to allow you to move the place holder. Im going to love this little ruler.

> 3 dayI have had a metal gauge for years and its still my favorite. I do like this gauge but its not so good for measuring one eighth or one quarter inch. The things I like best about it are the broad section at the end and it makes drawing accurate circles easy. However its only plastic and I think it is a bit overpriced.

> 3 dayThe Clover 5 In 1 Sliding Gauge was somewhat disappointing to me. Mainly it was smaller than I pictured it, and kind of flimsy. I already have a couple older gauges that work for small seams, but wanted something for measuring larger quilt borders. This product didnt work for that; and it was pretty pricey also. I donated it to my quilt guild for their next boutique!
