> 3 dayStill havent figured everything out with this thing, but I purchased it for the measuring part. Love it. Wish there was a metal one so I could iron over it though.

> 3 dayThis is a pretty cool sewing gadget with a lot of different functions. My only complaint is that it is also VERY flimsy. Most sewing gauges are made of metal, but this one is made of pretty thin plastic, and I doubt that it will last very long. Ultimately, I would probably trade the extra features for something that can stand up to more wear and tear.

> 3 dayI love this and better yet I got it cheaper than I would have at Nancy s Notions. I love a bargain. The slide bar is slightly grooved so it stays in place. It can be used as a compass to draw circles and again since the slide bar doesnt move it is perfect.

> 3 dayI love this thing! I love that it locks in and wont slide around like the crappy one I had from my local fabric store.

> 3 dayThis is a very cool tool. If you have one of the old metal seam gauges this tool youll love as a replacement!

> 3 dayIt arrived promptly. This sliding gauge was purchased for a sewing class. It is higher on Nancy Ziemans website, plus shipping & handling so I was pleased to find it on Amazon. It is a useful, but not a tremendously necessary, tool for me, except for following instructions in the sewing class. It seems to be a popular tool and you as a seamstress may find it more to your liking than do I.

> 3 dayWhen I first got it I thought it was a bit tacky & plasticky. However, it has proved to be invaluable. Wish it was made in a better quality though. Always a little concerned about breaking it!

> 3 dayI use this gauge almost every day in my sewing room. In fact, I loved the first one so much I bought two more--an extra to take with me to my quilting group sewing, and an extra for use at my ironing board. This is a very high quality tool, especially for being made out of plastic. But I should not have been surprised, Nancys Notions products are always top notch. This is a very useful tool, for a number of uses. I use it mostly to measure seam and hem widths so my work is straight, but you can use it for working with buttonholes and buttons and other things as well. I recommend this as a basic tool for anyone wishing to sew...it wont disappoint.

> 3 dayFind the T-square effect very helpful. The construction does feel a little flimsy. Handy to be able to draw arcs and circles. Overall really like it

Greater than one weekHas multiple uses, though, so will be versatile as long as it holds up.
