> 3 dayI had trouble keeping the sliding marker in position on my old ruler. The slider on this one stays in place with a ratchet-like holder. Theres a button release to allow you to move the place holder. Im going to love this little ruler.

> 3 dayIts much better than the metal gauge Ive used for a long time. I love how the slider has a push button, so it doesnt move around so easily. Its more flimsy than I was expecting, but I still find it to be a great product and Ill be using it a lot in my future sewing projects.

> 3 dayWorks good, but I wish the hole (for compus-use) was a bit bigger so I could fit my Frixion pen. Its a great function half wasted. Looks a lot sturdier, but it is all plastic, so dont get disappointed that it isnt metal. You could snap it if you try hard enough. On the other hand, it will snap instead of bend if you put too much force on it somehow, which means unless you do, it will not bend like the cheap thin sheet metal gauges you can get for $1.

> 3 dayI was hoping that this gauge was self explanitory. It works, for sure, but I will have to keep the card that it is attached to in order to utilize all of this gadgets capabilities.

> 3 dayIf you sew and have used other gauges with a slide and have had the little slide move when youre using it, this is for you. It is made very well and DOES NOT slip when you are using it. Yes it is a little more pricey, but well worth it. If you are a quilter this is a must have, and if you just sew in general it is a valuable tool.

> 3 dayWhile I like the guage, I would have expected it to be made from a harder plastic. That was a disappointment. Other than that, it works as described and is a useful addition to my sewing room.
