Greater than one weekNeeded an array of needles at a reasonable proce and this offered both so I ordered them hoping they would be of good quality and pleased that they were. I embroider and these are perfect for that. With the varying sizes and eye widths and lengths they can be used for different threads and stitches. These would also work for cross stitch projects as well as felt and various others. They are sturdy without being too thick and are not cheaply thin and bendable either. These are a really great deal for the price compared to the local craft store where I live. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend them.

> 3 dayThese are very best needles in this price range. I buy them all the time. I give them as gifts to other people who do needlework. Im sold on them. Worth every penny. So much easier to use and smoother than the lower price needles and for the amount of work one does with needles, they are worth it.

> 3 dayI do embroidery with floss and crewel with wool. These needles are perfect for embroidery with floss. I like the variety of sizes in the pack. As I change floss colors, I leave the needle threaded so that I can rapidly change colors using a pre-threaded needle, rather than using only one needle and changing the floss all the time. There are enough needles in this packet to be able to have a bunch of floss already threaded. I then stick the threaded needles into a piece of fabric to hold them, ready for use. I like Clover brand as they are easy to thread and remain sharp.

> 3 dayVery fragile, break easily. At one point, I was only using two strands of floss and the needle snapped it half coming up through the fabric.

Greater than one weekI recently started embroidery again and chose these needles since all the previous reviews were positive. Theyre a good quality with no barbs on the tip. Ive been using them every day for the last week and have no complaints about their performance. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the needles are so difficult to pull out of the foam holding them inside the package. I nearly stabbed myself trying to pull one out.
