I used this for cross stitching. Needles broke on at a time.

I do crafts for a living. Im starting to have a lot of problems with my right hand and I need needles that will glide easily in and out of the fabric. Its really hard for me to have to push a needle that doesnt want to glide in.. Ive tried all kinds of needles that Ive found available at local stores, but needles seem to be made cheaper and cheaper (while costing more and more) and just are not very sharp.. I decided to look on amazon, because I trust other customers feedback about products. I ordered these based on its feedback, and Im so glad I did.. They come in a variety of sizes, are easy to thread and glide through the fabrics easily, which is so much easier on my wrist and hand.. I use craft velours, doe suedes, fleece, and every kind of cotton fabric you can think of, as well as embroider, and these work really, really well on everything Ive tried them on. They are long enough so theyre easy to control, but not too long... Just the right size.. Ill be ordering another pack because I use needles for so many things..

After using a lot of needles that came with various cross stitching kits, I really noticed a difference when using these. They are quite sharp (good for stitching, but be careful!) and the variety of sizes is really nice. The only reason they dont get five stars is because, being cheaper needles, the eyes are not cut as cleanly as they could be; however, the gold gives a nice contrast when youre threading them. I recommend them!

I bought these for my renewed interest in embroidery. I didnt read the description properly. I thought I was getting 14 needles, but its 16 packs of 14! So the price is excellent. I like the needles. They dont snag, are sharp and go through the fabric cleanly. Only disadvantage for me is they are quite short. My other needles Im used to are longer and a little easier to use. Shortest is 3.5cm, longest is 4.5.

I am presently busy with a quilting project and enjoying the Gold Eye Embroidery needles! They are identified as being for embroidery, but the needles came in a wide range of sizes. So they are working perfectly for quilting! I also have a couple of embroidery projects in process, so have been using the needles for them as well.

I recently started sewing again. At first I was using needles that had been included in a kit. I ordered these and the difference is obvious. Smooth and sharp. Free and/or cheap can be a bonus, but quality wins out!

CLOVER-Embroidery or crewel needles have long eyes to take one or more threads of standard cotton or ribbon. Mainly used for either cotton or ribbon embroidery. Gold eye needles: 3/9. 16 needles included.
