I have tried many different types of embroidery needles. With embroidery needles, you are looking for a large eye to thread the thicker than normal thread easily. These have that. You are also looking for a needle that doesnt bend easily from pressure, as many stitches require intricate movement. These needles are strong and dont bend easily. The most important thing, though, is that the needle is narrow and very sharp so that it glides through fabrics easily so your hands do not become fatigued and so you dont damage the fabric. With many brands of needles to get that you give up the strength of the needle, meaning it will become bent more easily. Clover golden eye needles do not sacrifice strength for sharpness and narrowness. This is the best brand of embroidery needle that I have ever used, and I have been doing embroidery for 50 years. I highly recommend these.

These are wonderful embroidery needles. I have recently begun embroidering again after not doing it for a number of years. I found the package of hand sewing needles I had picked up to embroidery with were uncomfortable to sew with. If I sewed for longer than a few minutes, the eye end of the needle was really sharp, too, and it made my hand very sore from the constant poking when I pulled the thread in and out. The needle also started bending in an arch the longer I used it. I was then fortunate enough to notice these needles that are actually made for embroidery work, and they are wonderful! They are much more substantial then the hand sewing needles I was using, the eye end is not sharp, and they are easier to thread. I highly recommend these needles for embroidery work, or any other hand sewing needs.

very good quality needles. the needle eyes vary from large to tiny. If i were purchasing just for myself, the product would be fine. However, I purchased for a high school fashion academy project. Some of the needle eyes were simply too small to use. I would not hesitate to purchase this brand again. I would just look for a certain size needle rather than a variety.

I needed a larger needle to hand quilt using DMC perle cotton 8. These needles are great. Easy to thread and very smooth. I’m using the largest size, which I believe is a 3. Nice needles.

Decent range of needle choices, pretty, and versatile. Not a cheap like needle that will stab you with the dull end.
