Clover Gold Eye Embroidery Needles Size 3-9 - 16 Pack

MB
Greater than one weekI bought these for my renewed interest in embroidery. I didnt read the description properly. I thought I was getting 14 needles, but its 16 packs of 14! So the price is excellent. I like the needles. They dont snag, are sharp and go through the fabric cleanly. Only disadvantage for me is they are quite short. My other needles Im used to are longer and a little easier to use. Shortest is 3.5cm, longest is 4.5.

> 3 dayNeeded an array of needles at a reasonable proce and this offered both so I ordered them hoping they would be of good quality and pleased that they were. I embroider and these are perfect for that. With the varying sizes and eye widths and lengths they can be used for different threads and stitches. These would also work for cross stitch projects as well as felt and various others. They are sturdy without being too thick and are not cheaply thin and bendable either. These are a really great deal for the price compared to the local craft store where I live. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend them.

> 3 dayI am presently busy with a quilting project and enjoying the Gold Eye Embroidery needles! They are identified as being for embroidery, but the needles came in a wide range of sizes. So they are working perfectly for quilting! I also have a couple of embroidery projects in process, so have been using the needles for them as well.

08-06-2025Great price for what youre getting - cheaper than in any of the craft stores. The needles are easy to thread but are a bit fragile - if you are working on tough fabric where youre pulling and pushing, the needle may snap. Overall, 4 stars.

> 3 dayI really like these needles. They work pretty well. One of them did break as I was using it (I have a firm grip) but there are plenty of needles and the one I am using now as not broken after a lot of use. The needles are not very blunt and can penetrate the skin but as long as you are careful you should be fine.

> 3 dayI would have given this a higher rating if the needles had actually fit the desktop threader which I thought they would, but they didn’t. Overall, Clover makes good products, though.
