22-11-2024I am using Home Assistant on my home sever, I used these to automate my reptile tanks. Install was of course easy, linking to Home Assistant was very easy and it picked them right up. I am purchasing 3 more packs of two for other tanks and some other things I want control over.

> 3 dayI have an odd C-shaped apartment layout with lots of 2.4GHz interference (mainly WiFi from neighbors and lots of walls) that’s really not very conducive to a good ZigBee network. So, I purchased these to help bring my living room (on one end of the house) in range to my SmartThings hub (on the other end), which happens to be in a bit of a radio shadow for my SmartThings Hub. I found some spots that happened to link up my living room to the hub through a few hops and now my devices are up and running again. It’s a little slow right now so I’m going to get even more of these to make the mesh network even more robust.

> 3 daywhat can i say? it works. it repeats zigbee signals so my whole home has coverage aswell as acts as a smart switch. i do wish the formfactor was a little slimmer to allow for any plug to be plugged in on the other outlet. but it works well. the led is a little annoying if you have this in a bedroom, but that can be fixed with some black tape. so this is a good buy

> 3 dayMy home is less than 2K sq ft, and most of my devices are Z-Wave. I know some people claim that these can be unstable on a Zigbee network, but they work great for me. I probably only have a dozen or two Zigbee devices though.

> 3 dayMy whole house is quickly becoming automated with these smart devices, all centered around the SmartThings hub. I started by outfitting all of my light switches with ZWave specific devices. I have a number of other devices as well such as door sensors, locks, etc. I still had a few lamps around though that werent on switches, so I got these smart plugs to control those. These outlets and nice and small with a flat front. Perfect for hiding behind bookshelves. Its worth noting that these outlets use the Zigbee protocol as opposed to ZWave, but both are fully supported by SmartThings. I had no issue getting these to join my network. Simply plug it into the wall outlet, then in the SmartThings app, let it find any new devices. It came up almost instantly. If you are not a SmartThings user, supposedly you can just plug these in and have Alexa discover and control them. Ive not had a chance to try that. Once you add these to your hub, the possibilities are endless. Currently I have these lamps come on automatically at sunset each day. You could also automate turning these on when someone arrives home at night, etc. Great little devices. Not to mention the 12 months replacement/refund warranty on defective items. Would definitely purchase again when needed.

> 3 dayBought these simply as repeaters for Zigbee network, under Hubitat. Inclusion was easy, and once I had installed the dedicated user driver (thank you Youtube), theyve been working flawlessly since. These smart plugs are well designed, look great and have a solid feel about them. For the price, theyre a bargain. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for zigbee repeaters / extenders and / or smart plugs.
