> 3 dayNot too expensive. I assume they have to pay licensing fees for Zigbee use. But I chose these over plain WiFi types because I prefer general capability to use with things like now defunct Iris or deserving to be defunct SmartThings etc. hubs. These devices paired to the SmartThings hub in seconds while Samsung’s own devices are a nightmare to pair. They instantly were noticed by Alexa and work great daily. Longevity I cannot comment on at present. But I’m ordering the 4-pack of these now.

> 3 dayThese 2 plugs were my first zigbee devices on my Hubitat system. I only had z-wave devices, before these. My house is small, and I didnt have any trouble with my in-wall z-wave switches and plug-in outlets communicating at full strength with my hub. When I got these two new outlets, I plugged them into a socket next to my hub and included them very easily. Unfortunately, when I moved them them down the hall to the locations I wanted to use them, they wouldnt connect--with a continual sending message. They were only about 30-35 feet from the hub, but with a couple of interior walls in the way. I found that if I put one of the outlets in the hall about 18-20 feet away, then I could reach the other at the desired 35 foot location, but if I unplugged the hallway outlet, then I stopped communicating with the endpoint 35 feet away. This really limits the usefulness of these plugs, and I cant recommend them. At best, its like I bought 2 devices, but only got one and lost a hallway plug.

Greater than one weekThese are very reliable outlets. You can pair it to your smart hub in less than 2 mins. Work as expected at a great price. Im buying 2 more

> 3 dayI bought a bunch of different versions that claimed to work with Samsung Smartthings. They either didnt work or required an additional intermediary app. These ones however, worked perfect with Smartthings.

Greater than one weekApril 2021 - When I received the plugs, they were a different brand, and didnt work with SmartThings. Oddly, they came with a card that referenced to reach out to CMARS for support, but CMARS confirmed these were NOT their plugs. ---- May 2021 - CMARS offered to replace the fake plugs (branded Gosund) with the correct CMARS plugs, and apologized for the inconvenience (which was Amazons fault as the fulfiller, not CMARS). Well, the new plugs came, and they work a treat. Right out of the box, theyre as simple to set up with SmartThings as I could hope for. 30-seconds from out of the box, to controlling my lamp with ST. Definitely recommend buying from CMARS if you want good service.

08-06-2025For smart home I am not usually a fan of Zigbee products as 2.4 Ghz interferes with them, but if you have these near your hub they work fine. They are also quite small which makes them even better, and compared to Z-wave they are quite inexpensive.

> 3 dayPicked these up to switch on our indoor holiday lights and they perform as expected. The relay could be quieter but I cant complain for this price.

> 3 dayI’m got these for use with a SmartThings hub and found that they were so easy to pair. Plug them into the outlet and they will immediately be discoverable in the SmartThjngs app where they can be setup with one click and you’re done. They work exactly as advertised and are much cheaper than competitors (often half the price). I’ve used several other brands and these paired easier than any including SmartThings own outlets and they are just as responsive when manually controlled from the app or as part of an automation. The only downside I see is the indicator light is fairly bright. I use one in a bedroom and it throws a bright glow in a darkened room. I used a bit of electrical tape to cover the light and problem solved. I highly recommend these and I’m looking for something else to automate so I have an excuse to buy more!
