Greater than one weekWell worth the price. Performs well, cuts well, hogs through some heavy pitch 1 1/2 stock no problem. Keep it clean! I use an orange oil based de-greaser and it stays sharp.

Greater than one weekI purchased this bit so I can do some major cleanup when rough cutting my lumber to get a smooth finish. The overall length of this router bit from top to bottom is 4-1/4. The full cutting blade length is 2. Diameter of the bit is 3/4 and 1/2 shank. Two bearings at both ends provide cleanup at any end depending on where you place the template. I purchased the smaller bit; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008L0MZ3Q sometime back in July 2016. I have absolutely no complain and will buy these bits again if and when needed.

> 3 dayThis is a large bit, so you need to reduce router speed when using it. The top and bottom bearings make it suitable for pattern following and/or edge trimming. Generally CMT makes excellent bits, so I expect this to last. I am retired and a DIY woodworker and I am in my shop pretty much every day, so my tools and bits are used frequently. Not a production shop, but not quite a weekend warrior either.

> 3 dayBought this bit to pattern route 1-1/2 thick cedar. Bit runs true and shear cut blade cuts very cleanly. Stayed sharp through 30 linear feet of cutting. Great quality as expected from CMT.

> 3 dayGreat router bit. You are never sorry when you buy quality products. This indeed is a quality router bit. Not like the throw away junk that is made in China.

Greater than one weekExactly what I needed for smooth edge trimming. Staying down grain for the best pass when traimming.
