CMT 806.690.11B Flush Trim Bit with Double Bearing, 2-Inch Cutting Length and 1/2-Inch Shank

Bought this bit to pattern route 1-1/2 thick cedar. Bit runs true and shear cut blade cuts very cleanly. Stayed sharp through 30 linear feet of cutting. Great quality as expected from CMT.

It did what i needed. Really satisfied with this bit.

Dead on accurate. It’s a long bit make sure your router or router table has enough travel to get the bearings against the template

works will on most woods , but has tear out on red oak

If you are using this for it’s intended purpose, you will not be disappointed. Have had this but for several years and it works perfectly. Very happy with it and will be purchasing another to keep in reserve.

Great trim bit, far more affordable than whiteside or amana bits and carbide seems to wear well.

Very sharp, very smooth and it seams to stay sharp.

Did just what I wanted it to do. I used it to trim and square the edge of a 1.5 cherry counter top. The slight shearing angle on the two knives really help make a smooth edge and it also helps router on really thick wood.

Perfect for my edging needs. Smooth cuts.
