CMT 806.690.11B Flush Trim Bit with Double Bearing, 2-Inch Cutting Length and 1/2-Inch Shank

The bit made nice clean cuts. One thing I didn’t consider is that I thought the extra length compared to other bits was a plus, but the bit is so long that it can’t be lowered enough for the top bearing to ride on the template when cutting 3/4” stock using my Bosch router and Bosch router table.

On first use, part of the carbide cutter nicked off. You can kind of see it in The photo. Since it nicked near the bottom bearing, all the flush trim cuts aren’t coming off clean. Hope this is just a fluke and not representative of these bits.

Worked great for what I needed.

This is a great tool. I cut several curved pieces for a cradle with this and a template. Some 1.5 inch thick birch.

Works great, makes nice smooth edges

Gets the job done. Has maintained its edge throughout many passes on 1.5 cherry.

Dead on accurate. It’s a long bit make sure your router or router table has enough travel to get the bearings against the template

It caused what I felt was excessive teat out on the first pass.

Sturdy and smooth. Can easily remove the end bearing (with the right tool) if necessary.

These bits hold their edge for me, I never force my bits so for me theyre very sturdy
