CMT 806.690.11B Flush Trim Bit with Double Bearing, 2-Inch Cutting Length and 1/2-Inch Shank

Dont bother buying cheaper stuff, these are durable, precise and effective. I have other brands I bought about 10 years ago but the CMT bits I bought in 2007 are still sharp and drill and shave wood like on their first day. The others are not so effective anymore...

Sturdy and smooth. Can easily remove the end bearing (with the right tool) if necessary.

Bought this bit to pattern route 1-1/2 thick cedar. Bit runs true and shear cut blade cuts very cleanly. Stayed sharp through 30 linear feet of cutting. Great quality as expected from CMT.

This is a very heavy duty well built bit, cuts fast and smooth

I used this bit to shape some ash. It did the job, but afterwards I checked the bit and half of it was severely damaged. I want trying to push too much wood through. One and done I guess.

Nice bit. Im using it with a template to route large curves. I route downhill on each side by flipping the piece over and using the template on the other side when the grain direction changes. Leaves a pretty nice surface. No issues.

Very solid piece of tooling. Worth every penny.

I used this flush bit to cut the faces of 2x8s for a farm house table. It did an outstanding job!
