Co-Pilot Luggage Roller Suitcase

Ive used a version of this bag for extensive international travel for the last 6 years. While the nylon is very durable, the extension handles are very poorly made. Ive had two bags where the metal has snapped mid-travels, which is a real hassle since its a carry-on and the handle doesnt retract properly then. Both happened after about 2 years. Timbuktu will fix it, but it costs almost 50% of the price of a new bag to ship it back to them.

I have owned this bag for just about a year. I am a previous outdoor retail store manager that would sell Timbuk2 like it was gold but unfortunately I am unable to recommend the brand anymore. Mind you I have 4 bags from them with one that is delaminating. Regardless I have 2 CoPilots. One small and one XL. On a recent trip a wheel got broken in half and all I need is a new wheel. With photos sent, the customer service team of Timbuk2 requested I ship the complete huge bag back to them for “evaluation.” The waste created by doing this and not honoring your warranty stinks. What stinks more is when you place an order on their website for a new wheel, get charged 20 bucks, they don’t ship it for a loooong time.

Love this bag - best for carry-on. Fits in the overhead perfectly. Skateboard wheels give a smooth quiet roll.

I love the quiet wheels, and how easily maneuverable the bag is. The zippers are high quality, allowing you to overpack and still zip it closed.

The 22 (Medium) Timbuk2 Copilot is a good bag with some minor flaws.

I freaking love this bag! The compartments keep me so organized when traveling. Its a great size and rolls well. Timbuk2 does not disappoint!

Overall the Timbuk2 Co-Pilot luggage roller is a great bag. Its light, well thought out in terms of function, stable and looks really good.

I love that this bag has netted zippered covers on both inside sides. It helps me keep my clothes organized. I wish it had 4 wheels to be able to roll by my side tho. I used it for a 4 day trip (warm weather) and there was plenty of room for everything.
