> 3 dayHad to trace wire thru new to me motorhome. Hooked to wire going from my portable satellite and You get a weak red light, as I was checking wires, most were strong red lights meaning from a plugged in tv. Kept going following the weak red light and figured it out. Now satellite in the main tv. Mine had an old satellite system on the roof with plenty of wires. This is what I needed to figure out the mess

> 3 dayI used to work for a cable company. I bought this to trace the lines in our Travel trailer and found the tv lines in there to be hooked up wrong. All tv connections inside and outside work now

> 3 dayFirst impressions it looks a little cheap not worth the $20. Doesn’t come with instructions on how to use it but if you have a brain you can figure it out in like five seconds. But works well for short cable runs haven’t had a chance for a long cable runs update later.

> 3 dayall good, works fine my only issue having never needed something like this before has been to understand how to use it, how to disassemble all parts, then all fine.

> 3 dayIt does what it is supposed to do. Only drawback is that the plastic case it comes in does not have a lid to keep everything from falling out. Not a tool that can just be tossed in your toolbox for later.

> 3 dayIt didnt come with any basic instructions but once I got the jist of it i was able to check my coax so much faster! Good price for what i need. Much easier than messing with a volt meter.

Greater than one weekWorks perfectly. We have a FIOS modem so only needed one of these at the user end to convert coax outlet to an internet cable outlet. Doubled the speed that we can get with WiFi.

> 3 dayI fooled around with this for 15 minuter or so thinking I was missing a part. Battery did not fit either end. Then realized I had to unscrew a small part of bottom side... Mine was tight I had to put in vice and use pliers to get it off... came off hard all the way---I thought the threads would of been messed up but they were not... put some oil on it and it went right back together by hand... Worked fine after that...Bad Job on Threads.
