Comotomo Silicone Replacement Nipple, Medium Flow, 3-6 Months, 2 Count

These used to be great, now I have purchased 12 in the last couple no the and all but 2 have busted at the nipple tip, causing the babies to choke from too much liquid when they drink. When I check, they will have one to 3 slits in them were they bust. They are making them too cheap now. I have lost a ton of money. I need to return these ones. Very disappointed cause these are the only bottles I have. Im switching brands now.

I have found that slow flow comotomo nipples are consistently slow flow out of the box and the silicon does not break down from dishwashing or sterilizing, unlike some other brands. However, the milk comes out a bit fast in the last two ounces of any bottle. I think it is too fast in the last two ounces due to the design of the venting system: too much air gets in in the last two ounces so that causes more pressure within the bottle and leads to faster flow. I suspect this happens with every nipple speed, namely, it gets much faster in those last two ounces. To deal with the faster flow in the last ounces issue, I give my baby short drinks and then breaks often but my baby often gets frustrated not just being able to keep the nipple in her mouth and just stop sucking when she likes, esp when she wants to dose off while drinking. Has worked much better with my baby after the first month or so, when she does not want to practically sleep while drinking all the time. Suspect it will be just great once my baby drinks around 8 oz at a time because the larger bottles also flow too fast just in those last two ounces, so with drinking lots more per drinking session, there will be less time in that annoying too fast flow phase of the last two ounces.

I used to swear by mason bottle brand but these are more durable, more breast like, and currently half the price. They fit mason jars perfectly without leaks. Also check out cómo time sippy tops when baby grows

Would like to see them offer more than just three holes maybe like a four even five seems like he has to suck hard to get milk out Seems to get tired have to take a lot of breaks and then start sucking again

Im so glad Amazon sells these, I get them delivered next day with prime and are SUCH a lifesaver We are still trying to wean our two year old from bottles, and he likes to chew on these. They are such great strong material and thankfully he doesnt rip thru them, but they do get significant wear so I like to change them out often. We are also expecting another baby soon and its nice to know that I can reuse the comotomo bottles and just buy new nipples for the new baby. Such a $$$ saver since the comotomos are already a premium priced product. They come in a pack of two, packages together. I can verify that I have received an authentic product with each order that I have placed. Target does have these, but they are not always in store and as a parent with little ones (specially now during Covid) its just much easier to have amazon deliver to your door.

I love that these come in different flows! Most bottles don’t have that. Baby loves it & adapts easily to the flows as she gets older.

This was shipped as part of the newborn bundle I ordered. But this is not the same flow with the newborn bottle set shipped separately. The flow is too fast for my new born to use. I like comotomo products, but just to make sure parents aware.

I absolutely love these nipples for my newborn! Its the only nipples Ive found that is actually slow flow! My baby would have bottles gone in less than 5 minutes with other brand bottles ive tried. These nipples actually make him take his time eating to help swallow less air. Only issue is I wish the nipple was more off center. You practically have to lay the baby flat on his back to finish the bottle..

I have a breastfed son who has bottles Of pumped milk while I’m at work. We got the larger size bottles which come with nipples that are the next flow rate up so we needed this flow rate to use with them to start. I’m glad we did that because he quickly outgrew the size of the little ones. We’ve had zero issues with switching between these and nursing. They never leak and are so much easier/faster to clean than Dr. Browns type bottles. I just wish they were a little more affordable.
