Good, but the valves are tricky to clean and I did break one being too forceful.

Fits perfectly with the bottle but as with all bottle nipples , maybe more so with the Comotomo nipples- you have to be extra gentle when inserting into the nipple/bottle ring.

My daughter has been using the Comotomo bottles and nipples since birth and overall we are extremely pleased with them. Other reviewers give the variable flow nipples a poor review. The product itself works as described: variable flow. It takes getting used to and the little one has to learn that the harder they suck, the stronger the flow. I first tried these when she was 12 months to help speed up the bottle feeding time and it didn’t work for us. Now that she has been using a sippy cup, she adjusts accordingly. Unfortunately at 14 months, she still wants that last nighttime feeding in a bottle. This nipple works perfectly now since she’s older.

I ordered medium flow (2 holes) but received fast flow (3 holes). Just contacted Amazon to request replacement of correct item so hopefully I will receive the medium flow nipples soon. I purchased 2 packs of the fast flow by mistake last week & wont be able to use them for a while! This brand works great. Baby is mostly breastfeeding but I do supplement some with expressed milk & formula. My baby transitions easily from breast to the Comotomo bottles.

The bottles themselves are very durable so these replaceable nipples work when I just want to switch out the tops. I change them out about every 3 months due to milk residue, etc..

Update: looks like they have added a ring around the Y cut so that helps some. Adding a star for that. My daughter can still bite holes in it, but it is the softest option. If we get another nipple thats harder for her to bite through, then its too stiff and she wont take it. We use mason jars as baby bottles and these nipples fit the jars well. These nipples are also softer and a little longer than the Mason Bottle nipples - and less expensive! My baby seems to prefer these nipples over the Mason bottle nipples. These also stay clear wash after wash! The only con for me is that the y-cut tears too easily. Ive been having to replace these nipples every month since switching to the y-cut because they keep tearing. My baby doesnt chew or bite on it. I take extra care to not pull on the nipple when putting it on the mason jar ring, too. So now I am forced to try out other nipples. Just ordered the Nursh ones to see if they will fit and we will try the Mason Bottle ones again. Another thing that can be a concern is that the Mason Bottle cap wont fit over this nipple, but I just cover with a ziploc bag when I have to travel with it. Just to keep it sanitary.

I ordered these to replace older ones because they had a bad smell. The new ones ended up getting a smell to them after 1 use. I have sanitized and even soaked them in vinegar, they still have a stinky smell. Now the bottles also have the bad smell. I don’t know what is happening… I’m frustrated because so far these are the only nipples my daughter doesn’t suck milk through super fast and we pace feed. The smell is concerning. I’m wondering about the quality of the silicone…

My son will only drink out of comotomo, and he tears through these nipples so these have become a must have.

These are the best bottles! Baby loves the soft feel of the bottle. The wide neck makes them super easy to clean, limited parts to clean, the air vents mean she is never taking in air so she hasnt had problems with gas, before I excusively pumped she transitioned seamlessly from breast to bottle and back, the 5oz is the perfect size so far. We recently bumped up to the medium flow (4mo.old) from the slow flow.(newborn). The only con is I have spilled milk before trying to pour from a storage bag into the bottle because I accidentally touched the side of the bottle and its egg shaped so it rolled. Always a sad moment when milk is spilled. I feel like the pros all outweigh this though.
