You get a lot of jump rings in different sizes. Jump rings seem strong. The instruction book is very well done. I had a minor problem with one of the pliers, so I sent the seller a message. They immediately took care of it. Highly recommend this kit and I would buy it again! Im excited to try another weave out of the book.

The metal rings in this kit are super strong which is great if you slip with your pliers when opening or closing the jump rings because it’s very hard to mar this metal. There is an ample amount of each size rings for several projects of each type of weave. I’ve already tried out a couple of them that have been fairly easy to learn. This kit is definitely worth the money! The book is fantastic at showing what to do. This would be the perfect gift for any jewelry maker or person interested in chainmaille!

Excellent quality! Very strong and sturdy aluminum jump rings! Easy to follow instructions with very high quality step by step pictures. I am very satisfied with Chainmail Joes products. The picture is of a Helm chain footbag I was able to make using the instructions and some of my own imagination.

My husband requested a chain maille kit for Christmas and this was the ONLY one of its kind that offered multiple ring sizes, an instruction booklet with multiple weaves, tools and findings. He was so excited and has already made several projects. I would recommend this for beginners and intermediates.

This is an awesome Chainmail kit so many great patterns and very easy to follow instructions. The box is beautiful with chainmail patterns and there are so many jumprings. This definitely takes the guess work out of trying to figure out the sizes because they are all included. Great kit I highly recommend this I have purchased jump rings from Chainmail Joe before the jump rings are well made high quality.

I was extremely pleased with the contents of this kit, it was everything it said it would be. The quality of the product and the instructions are great. Would definetly buy from this company again. Oh! I forgot to say it came two days early.

This kit has jump started my new favorite hobby, and was a great price for the amount of rings you get! I have since ordered more rings from a different company, and the gauges do not match up. Unfortunately, I do not have precision calipers to be able to discern which company is using non-standard sizing, but I can tell you that what Chainmail Joe calls 18g, Weave Got Maille calls 16g. That being said, within itself, this kit is incredible. The pliers are good and sturdy (Ive since upgraded to ones with sharper tips and more comfortable handles, but these are good for beginners), the book is easy to follow and understand, and the rings are bright and shiny with very few flaws (Ive found a few where it looked like the saw jumped when cutting the rings off the dowel). Id definitely recommend this product for beginners who want to try several different weaves and find their own style!
