To start things out I have been looking for the best backpack I can find for a reasonable price. This is my third backpack in my college career and it’s safe to say that this one hands down is the best. At times having your textbooks,computer, and whatever can really become a burden lugging it around on your back. I specifically looked into this line of backpacks for this reason and how its convertibility tackles this issue with no problems. The padding it has on its back straps are extremely comfortable and definitely make it possible to carry around for a period of time. And I as mentioned before, if you get tired of having it on your back you can easily convert it into the briefcase/satchel look. This takes no more then 10 seconds to hide the straps. On top of all this, it’s a really nice looking backpack that comes in an assortment of colors and styles. I really wanted this bag to be my EDC bag and it’s absolutely perfect for that job. The ONLY con(s) I can think about is that this backpack doesn’t really offer a lot of specific place holders for your smaller items (pens, etc). Aside from that I would recommend this bag for anyone. It’s very spacious, and for the price listed I don’t think you’ll find a better backpack.

As a businesswoman, I always strive to look my professional best. After an extensive search for a smart-looking Messenger Bag that would fit my laptop, I was very impressed with, and purchased, your CoolBELL Messenger Bag, from Amazon.com. However, this good feeling has quickly turned to disappointment with the bag and the CoolBELL brand because in just a few months of being used sparingly, the bag has become unusable - one of the straps is virtually unstitched from the body of the bag. I believe the defect existed when the bag left the factory because (1) the strap should not have unstitched at all, because I have only used the bag infrequently and do not put much into it when I do use it, and (2) the unstitched area is under a fold in the bag, so that it was not easily visible when it left the factory and when I received it. The bag is unusable without the strap. Because this problem is a factory quality control and workmanship issue, I would appreciate if you would send me a replacement bag. I will be happy to return the defective bag if you send me a postage pre-paid return mailing label. I brought this bag because I like how it can convert from a carry bag to a backpack. When I bike ride to work I use the backpack feature which makes it much easier for my commute on the bike. I can fit my laptop accessories lunch and everything I need for my workday. My only issue is the shoulder strap wont stay in place. Maybe its the way I adjusting the strap but when I start walking, it wont stay the length that I adjusted it too.

So the duality of flipping from backpack to messenger bag works perfectly, mainly the whole reason I got it. I’ve used it regularly for over 2 months now and have had absolutely no issues. I work in construction and go from job site to job site and it fits well in the field with its durable look instead of something flashy and made of leather. It still looks brand new even after I’ve spilled coffee on, got caught in the rain with it, and dropped it on rocks. Storage space is perfect and love all the extra pockets inside. Highly suggest this bag, I got loads of compliments on it from all the office guys who just wear basic backpacks into the office. Very professional looking. 100%

I really like this convertible -- it can be carried as a backpack, or as a small briefcase. The 15.6 size option is perfect for my 15 macbook pro. Its not too big a bag, yet it has tons of zippered and velcro pockets! This makes organizing much easier than a regular backpack that just has a couple of large pockets to hold all your junk. Also, I prefer the squared-off shape of this bag better than a teardrop-shaped backpack. I ended up with a very dark grey canvas version, which I like. There are other options, some which have nylon straps and cover material instead of canvas.

I am not a backpack person, but years of lugging a bag on one shoulder I needed a different way. I like this better than an average backpack. Since it converts to a regular briefcase style, it is easy to retrieve papers and files. They are topside up, things dont disappear in the bottom like a backpack. It has lots of room and very durable and stylish.

I bought this bag in hopes of finding a bag similar to one I had for a smaller computer. It took many hours of looking at hundreds of bags but I choose wisely! Love it so far. I’ve only had it for a little over a month but I really love it. It’s slim profile makes it super easy to navigate thru people traffic, the metal fittings are extremely strong and quite attractive. Lots of storage for all of my stuff. It’s a moving office! Love the versatility of backpack to briefcase to messenger bag and very easy to switch mid-stride. Love it!

It is perfect for my commutes to school and wearing like a backpack. It has a special padding in the laptop side to prevent hard blows from damaging it.

Amazing bag, I take it everywhere on a daily basis and have no issues. Good stitching, stain resistant fabric, strudy zippers, and lots of storage pockets to keep everything organized. Not to mention the versatility of the backback/shoulder bag along with the luggage strap has made travel much easier with all my important belongings. great value for money, would purchase again in a heartbeat.
