I was looking for a compact bag that I wouldnt be embarrassed to bring to an interview and still be fashionable enough to take to school. This bag/backpack satisfy that requirement perfectly. It is very well thought through with all of its little pockets and organization options. I have it for over a month and use it daily and it is holding up quite nicely. If this puppy lasts then this will be the best laptop bag purchase I have done so far.

Great quality materials. The only issue is that the messenger bag straps are incredibly difficult to attach and remove due to the company using too small a clip. The clip opening is just about exactly the same size as the metal loop that needs to slide through it. It takes all my might to force it through and makes converting the bag from backpack to messenger and vice versa a pain, and potentially an embarrassment. (I could see myself whacking someone or spilling something after a meeting as a result of all the effort it takes.) Another reviewer has included a picture showing the issue.

I really like the look & aesthetic design of this bag, and it is also very lightweight -- exactly what I was looking for in a daily-use bag. Ive been using it as a backpack more than as a briefcase, but have used it both ways. There is plenty of space in the bag for daily commuting to/from work. I wish that it had a clip of some sort inside one of its compartments on which I could secure my keys. It has one D-ring on the front exterior, but thats not really where I want my key dangling. I added a small caribiner to one of the exterior D-rings on which to secure my sunglasses. Other than that, I wish it had a loop or something on which to insert or secure a portable umbrella. Despite these things, I still like the bag and glad I bought it because of how attractive it is, and lightweight. I had an issue with one seam that started to separate, and notified the manufacturer, who quickly responded by offering a refund and/or a replacement bag. So, I give them high marks for customer service!

I really like this bag and it solves many of the problems I had with my two previous messenger bags. This bag is nice and has good functionality. The only thing I dont like. is theres a pocket that doubles as a pocket for one of the handles and storage for whatever. That pocket is not secure and things could fall out if the bag is turned upside down. Ive received compliments on the bag.

Very good bag design but unfortunately not for me. I am looking for a convertible backpack to fit my alienware 17r5 and it fits inside the bag but wont zip closed. Bag is not deep enough. Do not buy for large gaming laptops.

Ive had this bag for just over 14 months now and use it on my daily bike commute to work. Pluses - it has great storage and compartments, with deceptive amounts of room for items such as a laptop, clothes and a bunch of smaller pouches for just about anything. The design is great. So whats not to like? Well, I use it more like a backpack (rather than the optional shoulder bag) and it just hasnt held up. Ive had one strap repaired once by a local repair place and the strap is starting to come apart at the seams again. Could I be overloading? Perhaps. But for a bag to get high ratings, its gotta do the miles and hold up better than this. For anyone who commutes to work by train, bus or car, or travels by plane often, it truly is a versatile bag that may be perfect. It just hasnt held up for me.

As a businesswoman, I always strive to look my professional best. After an extensive search for a smart-looking Messenger Bag that would fit my laptop, I was very impressed with, and purchased, your CoolBELL Messenger Bag, from Amazon.com. However, this good feeling has quickly turned to disappointment with the bag and the CoolBELL brand because in just a few months of being used sparingly, the bag has become unusable - one of the straps is virtually unstitched from the body of the bag. I believe the defect existed when the bag left the factory because (1) the strap should not have unstitched at all, because I have only used the bag infrequently and do not put much into it when I do use it, and (2) the unstitched area is under a fold in the bag, so that it was not easily visible when it left the factory and when I received it. The bag is unusable without the strap. Because this problem is a factory quality control and workmanship issue, I would appreciate if you would send me a replacement bag. I will be happy to return the defective bag if you send me a postage pre-paid return mailing label. Amazing bag! I love how there is a lot of room to put things in. There is a spot for the laptop with a foam (maybe for cooling; wasn’t paying too close attention to instructions) that is secure while leaving room for paper and other things. Straps are comfortable and have lots of cushion. Best purchase!
