> 24 hourI use brass rods for model making. These Coolneon 2mm brass rods are of fine of quality. They are straight, finely finished , stiff and precise. They cut easily with my rotary tool. What I really like is the container which makes accessing and storing them easy. I highly recommend Coolneon.

> 24 hourGood color of the brass. I like the case for storage it is strong and it will protect the brass rod very well. The rods were the right size and amount in which they were advertise. They are pliable and the adhere to the shape you make them . Very fast shipping

> 24 hourI used these as exposed dowel pins for woodworking to add some flair. Im really happy that these measured very accurately - exactly .125 from my dial calipers. The outside has a nice surface finish, not mirror-like but much more smooth than something from the hardware store. Easy to cut with a metal hacksaw too.

> 24 hourI’ve tried to find something that would work well to attach with solder to a stained glass piece for a plant stake to use in a flower pot! These worked great! A great size without having to cut them, affordable and they took the solder well! I’ll definitely be buying them again!

> 24 hourTop quality shipped in protective plastic double ended ended containers, like cutting tools come in, to protect finish. No material cert. or grade stated, but acceptable for hobby use. Would buy again.

> 24 hourI got this to use it as a brass drift for driving bearing races out of wheel hubs. I know that the ends will mushroom eventually and the business end will deform, but this will be easy to reshape as needed. I did a number of hammer strikes via the drift to the anvil on my vice. Even with solid strong hits, the ends did not deform. Seems to be a strong, not mushy brass. Even though this is a bit off label, it works well for my needs.

> 24 hourThis 1/2 brass rod arrived in a sturdy plastic sheath. It was very straight, had a highly polished finish and was accurate throughout its length. It measured from .4992 to .4995 at multiple positions. I would classify this stock as very high quality and recommend it for purchase at its current price. Note, the title in this review indicates 3/8 but the tested produce was actually 1/2 diameter rod.

> 24 hourI got these for my husbands knife making and he said they were perfect. He likes them very much and they look pretty good in his knife handles. He says you cant have enough of them around when making knives.

> 24 hourThe diameter of these brass rods is accurate when measured with a micrometer. Excellent, easily machinable round-stock material for light duty shafts, pins, etc.

> 24 hourI ordered this brass rod for making small parts with my miniature metal lathe. The rod arrived in a hard plastic protective case, and wasnt covered in tape or marker like some other metals Ive sourced elsewhere. There were no defects, including scratches or dings in the surface. The ends were finished nicely, which was a surprise, since most small pieces of metal rod Ive purchased have rough cut ends from being sawed to length. If youre looking for a quality piece of brass, this is a good source.Ill be back when I need different sizes, or more of this one. Im very happy with the quality and really secure packaging.
