I love brass. I love the way it polishes up and shines. These rods are for knife pins in a project Im working on to reprofile and rehandle my wifes kitchen knife set. The rods are about perfectly round and smooth. These are perfect for the job and worth the price.

I ordered these at my husbands request. Hes getting into knife making (just what a man with a million other projects needs!) and thought these brass rods would work for his newest hobby. I have to say, he did a great job of repairing my favorite filet knife that was so old, the scales (I learned a new term!) split and were in bad shape. He fashioned a new handle and put all back together with these brass rods. So yeah, five stars from me for that reason alone!

This piece came in a plastic holder that completely protects the finish of the product. Accurately measures out at 0.5 in. +/- 0.001.

I used these as exposed dowel pins for woodworking to add some flair. Im really happy that these measured very accurately - exactly .125 from my dial calipers. The outside has a nice surface finish, not mirror-like but much more smooth than something from the hardware store. Easy to cut with a metal hacksaw too.

This measures 12x0.5 so its exactly what I expected and needed. The ends dont have burrs. Nice piece of metal.

I was having a hard time finding brass drift punches long enough to knock out a roll pin from an aluminum housing. I found this bar stock on the Vine program and ended up getting it in three different diameters for future applications. Its very nicely machined and comes in a plastic tube to protect the ends.

Cut flush, not beveled as suggested by some of the photos in the product description. Needed a good polishing, but otherwise smooth and straight. Packed in a nice protective shell. Will work well for my project.

These are accurately made solid brass rods for hobby and craft applications. Endless possibilities for any place you want a nice yellow brass accent for a build. Easily bent and worked and they shine up beautifully. I got these in 1/8 - inch diameter for use as pins/rivets for smaller knife handles, but I know Ill have other uses as well in the future-- maybe levers or push rods for automata? Also got the two other sizes and all were beautifully finished well made yellow brass rods. Priced affordably.
