> 24 hourGood color of the brass. I like the case for storage it is strong and it will protect the brass rod very well. The rods were the right size and amount in which they were advertise. They are pliable and the adhere to the shape you make them . Very fast shipping

> 24 hourMy husband requested that I order this brass rod for him. He was very impressed with the packaging and the apparently quality of it. He is gathering materials to build a knife and this is one more piece of the puzzle.

> 24 hourI’ve used brass rods for repairs on dozens of items, from the old knife and pan handles to the hinges on our truck’s cup holder. In my shop they are almost as essential an item as screws and nails and I always have a supply on hand. These are as advertised in size and quality. They’re less expensive than at my local hardware. I would normally give an item like this 4 stars but I added one star for the convenient packaging/storage case. Full Disclosure: I acquired this as a Vine user. While we pay nothing up front for products, it is counted as taxable income at the retail price. This generally means Vine members pay about 30% of retail in taxes. We take our reviewing seriously and endeavor to assess quality to the best of our abilities. As consumers we rely on other peoples reviews, so we try to return the favor. Our Ratings Criteria: 1 star. Lowest we can give, recommendation against purchasing 2 stars. Meh minus. Has some major downside or flaws 3 stars. Meh. Not great, has some minor issues but you may find it useful 4 stars. Meets expectations, works as designed, no major or obvious issues, a reasonable choice 5 stars. Exceeds expectations, highly recommended purchase.

> 24 hourI got this to use it as a brass drift for driving bearing races out of wheel hubs. I know that the ends will mushroom eventually and the business end will deform, but this will be easy to reshape as needed. I did a number of hammer strikes via the drift to the anvil on my vice. Even with solid strong hits, the ends did not deform. Seems to be a strong, not mushy brass. Even though this is a bit off label, it works well for my needs.

> 24 hourHigh quality brass rod stock! Relatively hard and springy temper. Pros: -Perfect cut ends -Dead straight -Consistent Dimensions Cons: -Diameter maybe slightly undersized? I measured all rods to be 0.98mm. But that could very well be within the tolerance of my calipers.

> 24 hourI ordered these at my husbands request. Hes getting into knife making (just what a man with a million other projects needs!) and thought these brass rods would work for his newest hobby. I have to say, he did a great job of repairing my favorite filet knife that was so old, the scales (I learned a new term!) split and were in bad shape. He fashioned a new handle and put all back together with these brass rods. So yeah, five stars from me for that reason alone!

> 24 hourI ordered this brass rod for making small parts with my miniature metal lathe. The rod arrived in a hard plastic protective case, and wasnt covered in tape or marker like some other metals Ive sourced elsewhere. There were no defects, including scratches or dings in the surface. The ends were finished nicely, which was a surprise, since most small pieces of metal rod Ive purchased have rough cut ends from being sawed to length. If youre looking for a quality piece of brass, this is a good source.Ill be back when I need different sizes, or more of this one. Im very happy with the quality and really secure packaging.

> 24 hourThe uses are many and a few common ones are for brass pins in knife handles, general hobby crafts, model cars, planes and boats. It is popular for many uses as brass rod is easy to bend, solder, braze has a high astrenght.

> 24 hourSometimes the BF likes to fabricate things for his minis. A good post to attach some of that plastic to is always a must. These little rods are perfect for that purpose, he can cut them down to size and hand drill a hole to put these in to help keep his minis together, especially some of the more unbalanced ones. These are strong enough that they might even work as a base for a clay creation. I like that they come in a plastic reusable container that keeps them straight and is easy to identify.
