Unfortunately, the 8Gs of RAM that came with it just wasnt enough. Opening a few tabs on my internet browser was enough to eat up all of my computers RAM usage.

Ordered x2 16GB cards before Christmas to boost the RAM in my new Imac 27” 5K and inserted them into slots 2 and 4 (moving the original 2 cards to 1 and 3) - now I have much better performance with a total of 40GB’s for my machine. No issues whatsoever and I’m really pleased with the outcome.
