> 3 dayThird times a charm unfortunately for me. Despite what you read on Crucials website, Ballistix Sport LT 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin - BLS2K16G4S240FSD will not work in your Dell XPS. I also tried Patriot Memory Viper 4 Series 32GB (2 X 16GB) 2400MHz SODIMM DDR4 Kit (PV432G240C5SK) and either had a bad stick or it wont work either (despite the check here on Amazon telling you it fits. Yes, it fits, but it may not work. Frankly, I dont know a lot about memory and whats going on with BIOS, but it seems like Dell has theirs locked down so you cant tweak memory-related stuff. Therefore, only some memory from 3rd parties will work despite being the right size and specs. Then again, you may also not need more memory unless you are doing tasks that require it. In my case, running multiple VMs and memory-intensive applications.
