I purchased a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E420 from Office Max a few months ago. It is a fantastic machine! It came equipped with an Intel Core i5 2450, 6 GB RAM, and a 500 GB 7200 RPM Hitachi TravelStar HDD. As configured the ThinkPad booted very quickly to the Windows Log in screen in approximately 25 seconds, I was able to use Windows in about 35-40 seconds.

I used it on my 2012 Macbook Pro, the laptop reads it and according to the apps it being used fully.

Didnt really change the performance of my wifes laptop. She has an i5 CPU (cant remember what gen. but Im guessing 2nd). Anyways, I wanted to give this 5 stars but due to the limitations of my wifes machine, I couldnt really test these properly.

What can I say, but buy this ram for your laptop or notebook. They are very good indeed and very easy to set up with no configuration neccassary. Just make sure your laptop will accept 1600 MHz and also the 8GB MEMORY. I bought two for my laptop and they work just great and have improved the performance of my laptop tremendously, for Games and multi tasking. The speed of these memory so-Dimm modules will help greatly in improving your graphics card or a processor which uses a graphics function built into the CPU(intergrated) to control the output to your monitor to stop lag.
