> 24 hourHUGE improvement to my 3d prints. Why every 3d printer doesnt come with one of these is beyond me. If you have a plastic extruder, get this. Well worth the price and effort to change. Made a drastic difference in my prints. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourThis upgrade to my Ender 3 printer helped with my print issues I had. It made the filament feed correctly into the Bowden tube.

> 24 hourBetter than the plastic pieces... mostly. The filament feed holes dont exactly line up. When printing something where the filament needs to retract a lot, it squeaks LOUD!

> 24 hourI have the previous version of this on my Ender 3 (and I use it in a direct drive setup). I am very happy with it and get excellent results. The only issue that I have with it is that sometime the filament gets stuck when pushing it through PTFE tubing. It just takes a little finesse sometimes to push it through. I do not have issues when printing with TPU. This newer version seems to be a better design with small improvements, but it does NOT fix my original issue. I do, however, like the fact that it does not need the PTFE fitting. If you are currently using the previous version, unless you are specifically having issues with TPU, save your money and keep it. This one will not make a difference. If you are having issues with flexible filaments then give it a try. If you are using the original stock feeder, I would recommend upgrading to this inexpensive feeder. This kit comes with NO instructions, but after careful examination of the parts and the photo, it is fairly easy to assemble. I included photos in the order that I put my together to help guide someone that may have never done this before. The installation in the photos was done on a spare stepper motor to make taking photos easier. I recommend removing the E Stepper motor from your printer to assemble this.

> 24 hourGreat upgrade for a 3d printer. If you have an ender 3 just do yourself a favor and upgrade to this piece.

> 24 hourExtruder base does not have a threaded output for the fitting to the Bowden tube, I think I was supposed to put a supplied plastic plug into the non threaded hole and thread the fitting into it, that did not work for me. Put all the original parts back on and ordered the correct extruder. The printer is an Ender 3 V2 and it is in the list of compatible printers for this part.
