Awesome product and easy to install!

Took two tries to install. I didn’t properly seat one of the Crucial modules the first time. Reinserted them again with a little more force the second time and the computer restarted perfectly with all RAM modules functioning properly.

100% compatible with 27 2017 iMac

I purchased the entry level iMac offered by Apple back in late 2017. Since I have so many programs running at the same time; I decided to upgrade to 64GB of RAM. While this is obviously overkill right now; I decided to go forward, as I didnt want to upgrade twice.

I followed others feedback along with apples instructions and the memory worked on my first attempt. I have a 27in. 2017 iMac, left the original memory in the existing slots (2&4) and put the new 16gb sticks into the open slots (1&3). Worked like a charm. The one side effect was that my external monitor was no longer being recognized. I restarted the computer and reset the p-ram. Unplugged and re inserted the external monitor cable and voila.

Solid product. Works just as it should. Easy to install in my new iMac.

The install was preceded by a lot of concern about the nomenclature on the memory cards. The vendor used two separate memory modules that were not made to be a kit. This was very frustrating as the similar individual memory units were selling on Amazon by different vendors for 30% less. The vendor was uncooperative in adjusting the price to match what other Amazon sellers were asking. The install was easy, and the memory units have worked so far. Note that Amazon has no price adjustment options for vendors who over-price their goods. You are on your own with price pirates.

I was a bit afraid to purchase software, but this product is great and works fantastic. Follow the Apple install procedure and you will not hav a problem.
