Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Memory for Mac CT2K32G4S266M

Good product. Somewhat too pricey. A bit difficult to install but beats alternatives.

I installed this kit (16kb X 2) in iMac/18,3/ 27/i5/3.5kHZ; it took about 5 mins. I placed them in the two empty slots (2&4) and they were recognized immediately. A few days later I switched the new modules with the original ones just to see if there was a difference. I did not use any software to analyze the speed changes if there were any; I could not detect any difference. So, bottom line: new modules are in slots 1&3 (counting from the bottom) and original modules are in slots 2&4 and all is well.

Good price for 32gb RAM for my mid 2017 27 iMac. Easy to install into the two open slots, and combined with the factory apple RAM. I now have a total of 40gb. No regrets buying Crucial memory. Much better pricing than OWC for this upgrade.

I tried two other manufactures to add a 2x32GB kit to my existing 2x32 kit in my Apple iMac 27 with Retina 5K Display, 3.6GHz 10-Core Intel i9, 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD, AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4GB, 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Mid 2020 and Crucial worked just fine.

I bought 2 sets of this ram for my iMac. 1 set worked great and the other didnt work at all with my iMac. The number CT2K32G4S266M on the package did not match that number on the cards included in that package. How that happens is beyond me but I have a refund and will try again to get the correct cards. When the product is the right thing they are great.

Nothing to dislike, did what it says on the tin (well plastic).

I bought 2 kits for a total of 64GB. Installation was easy and my iMac immediately detected all 4 DIMMs. I havent had any problems. Saved a lot of money getting the RAM this way than getting it with the iMac from apple.
