> 24 hourGood Smartplug...Ok App... while this will make some great plug for outdoor lights or items you want to turn on and off on schedule or when you are not home, the app itself, well, a bit to desire...but as always, you can just use alexa and most issues are fixed.

> 24 hourI was so disappointed to get this and see I have to download another app when there is a very universal and productive app across vendors that uses an open way to access your plugins, Smart Life. Needless to say, I will be returning this product. If you want 40 different apps to control your home automation and dont care, it is probably a good product. For me, this product is useless and cumbersome to manage.

> 24 hourWe purchased this to replace an old lamp timer. The timer would short out whenever it rained. With this I have a good seal and wifi connectivity. I would highly recommend this product!

> 24 hourThe outdoor plug itself is well made, functional. The app is another story. Scheduling is a joke. I set the outlet to come on at 8pm and off at 1am. The app tells me this is unacceptable! The start time must begin before the stop time. The only thing in this world that thinks 1am is earlier than 8pm is the calendar. Obviously no humans involved here!

> 24 hour*Update: After using the plug last year, I unplugged it and stored it in the basement with all of the Christmas lights. When I went to reinstall it this year. Same outdoor receptacle and everything, I could not get it to link with Alexa. Same router, same passwords, nothing changes. I am sure if I reset everything and took the time, I could probably get everything communicating again. But I assumed once it was done I could just plug/unplug without worrying about it. So now instead of Alexa taking care of it, I needed to use the MyDlink app to set a schedule. This was a bit tedious as you need to do everyday, and its military time. Since reinstalling after less than a week I have had to unplug it to reset it as it has lost connection. Even the buttons on the unit itself were unresponsive. I am unsure what the case is, but I am losing confidence in this product that was great 1 year prior. *** After a week this has worked great for our outside Christmas lights. Set up was a breeze as well as integrating with Alexa. I am a huge fan of each outlet having its own cover. You are able to name each outlet so that they can be turned on individually.
